Accuracy? The online version was completely unusable. Imported and was filing SAME 1099 multiple times? Didn't discover without looking at forms view. Support I for some unknown reason was forced by IRS to file by mail. I have not heard or know if they even got my taxes and won't even let me check for 6 weeks, BULL CRAP>

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 20 years, and I will say that it is very easy to use. If you do not understand something, there's a helpful topic list, and help center to assist you. I only gave it 4 stars because sometimes you have to go to the form and override the information and input it in yourself. Other than that, save yourself some time and money by doing it yourself. You might just learn a few things about taxes that your tax preparer never mentions.

After finishing all my taxes, when I was filing electronically I was getting an error suggesting I need to fix the entry in my W-2 Box 16. No matter what I do the error continued...finally I removed the entire Box-16 entry, which reduced my return by approximately $500, I could file it.

Generally straight forward although on occasion I did need to cross check versus home records. No issue with downloading o my PC or retrieving prior years return. Chat wa sometimes helpful although at times ddi need to go to the internet to reconfirm certain items. Seemed to work intuitively.

I was deeply disappointed that TurboTax would only run on Windows 11. My computer could not be upgraded so I spent $1000 to buy a laptop. I did not like the changes. I was confused at how to download my information from the Merrill Lynch site. The program kept asking me if I wanted to download from QuickBooks or some other file. I finally stumbled on the correct way to get to the site. I think there should be a number to call if you're having trouble navigating the software. (Is there?) I was disappointed that when I could not figure out how to subtract my before-tax charitable contributions from my RMD, my only option was to submit that question and have another user answer. In summary, I can figure out how to calculate my taxes, but I always have some frustrations using the software. I don't need a tax expert, but sometimes I would really like to talk to someone who understands the software. I did manage to get through it.

Works but I lost confidence in the product this year. It seemed a little buggy this year. The interface treats the Payer ID differently in the input and review sections for foreign 1099-DIV that have no Federal ID. Input requires zeroes, and review section requires blanks. Interface requests for forms not included in the filing and requests the same information multiple times and at times unexpectedly. Printing form 1040-SR without truncating forms at the bottom was a real challenge on MacOS with an HP 2035. Printing behaved differently depending on where the print was selected. Only "Print forms for filing" got satisfactory results.

Features, compatibility and interface failed me: November 2025 Tax advantage program failed to download in January 2026 when I needed it! Had to call and get and new link. Second: download for stock and investment cap gains, int, and dividends failed. You took my data to the intuit site and than redirected me to go fetch it from there; except it wasn't there and I could not find it where you said it was supposed to be. I had to manually input the data by going back to each investment house and printing the documents. Not cool! finally, the donation calculator was missing without notice and that was disappointing. that took a long time to gather the information and complete that itemized deduction part. Not Cool again!

I have used for Turbo Tax for years and think the changes made to navigate, especially within Investments were cumbersome and not clear. For example, it was not at all clear how to manually enter Form 1099's. Also, when you got to the place to Allow the import there is no message to indicate it was successfully imported. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Last year's software was much better.

I'm hoping the accuracy is excellent and you will certainly hear from me if it is not. I tried the online feature first, but did not realize that I wouldn't be able to use it for my MIL and my daughter's taxes. That made me cranky. I went back to downloading it, which I found easier to use anyway. I clicked on a radio button for W4 or estimated taxes, but it wouldn't let me turn it off. Yuck.

Everything was great with Turbo Tax until I tried to fill my returns. I wanted to use my credit card, but couldn't select the month of December (12). I read online and this is a known issue, and has apparently been for a couple of years, but Intuit has not resolved it. I have numerous credit cards with a December expiration dates. For an otherwise pleasant and helpful experience using this software, this date issue caused a lot of unnecessary frustration in the completion of my tax return and a delay in filing my taxes. Please fix it! Thank you!
