The new format does not allow for detailed listing of individual items such as specific doctors or Real Estate taxes I paid. I could not itemize my charitable deductions. The old format made it easier to locate where I wanted to go back to. Your expert, Lynn, was very helpful in showing me where to find a way to import data. She understood my problem and solved it for me.

I've been using TurboTax for many years, but this year I got no CD, and I found it very difficult to transfer data from the 2024 TurboTax file stored on my computer. I felt as though I was being forced, by your software, to use the online vs the desktop option. It took me hours of screwing around before it seemed to me that I was getting the same ease of use from the 2025 software version as I had become used to when using prior years CD based software. I will likely not be using TurboTax again.

TurboTax is an efficient way to file tax returns. Imports relevant data from previous year's return to avoid re-entering personal data. Summary compare of current year Income/Deductions/Taxes to previous year. Imports 1099's from well known financial institutions which really helps with a history of investment transactions (TurboTax Premier). E-file return for quick and easy filing.

TurboTax worked well as it has always done. My only criticism is that the desktop program is not available for Windows 10. I was hoping that you would make it available for Linux but if you don't make available for Windows 10 users I doubt that it will ever be available for Linux.

Not very user friendly. There should be additional guidance or an explanation on each page. Biggest complaint is when filing in multiple states. I have a rental in another state. I had to keep switching back and forth from the federal return to the other state return so I could manually input information on the state return that was already included on the federal return.

This year was the most miserable year using your product. Program was buggy and needed updates. Could not get it to load a saved return in progress when I returned to it the next day. Finally need to be completely reinstalled to submit my return when completed. I have used the Windows desktop versions for several years, this is the first time with Mac and there may not be a next time for me. Help was AI and very ignorant. I am so glad I am not doing this on April 14.

I wanted to use the online version for the first time this year (free filing of State return). I didn't because it doesn't include the "forms" method of entry. If you have just a little knowledge of taxes, entering exactly what arrives on each form is a piece of cake. No worthless wandering through a zillion questions unrelated to your own circumstances. It was well worth my $20 to do my return on my desktop and use "forms."

User interface is abominable. To be sure I wasn't a bot, I had to go through 15 ROUNDS of checking boxes containing motorcycles, etc. If your method needs 15 tries, it's a lousy method & should be changed. If you're trying to get the user seething with frustration, you're succeeding. Documents from brokerages...I went through the menu to get the forms from my broker. For some reason, I couldn't log on to Schwab--it's offer to send a text verification, then said it wasn't available. I logged on to Schwab with no problems, downloaded my statements. could I upload them? I could not. But I could copy the numbers. And for vanguard, I needed the account number and document ID--WHICH I HAD TO DOWNLOAD THE FORM MANUALLY TO GET. But again, I couldn't submit the PDF I'd downloaded, but had to copy the numbers from that one so you could retrieve it directly. And when it tried to connect to Vanguard, I again had to go through 6 rounds of checking boxes with motorcycles--which I hadn't had to do when logging on to Vanguard directly. So that's not them, that's you. It's like it's been designed to be awkward, clumsy, and inconvenient. You've got the resources to hire competent developers. But apparently that's too much bother.

The program is no longer user friendly. I had several questions to inquire about, but the program would not allow me to research the questions instead the program would continuously go to chat bot. I like to read not ... I also used the online program and was 100% unsatisfied so I purchased the desk top version. I may look into other programs available for next year.

Everything was fine except for the 1099 INT and DIV entries. I have many interest and dividends and the big "balloon" visual. There was too much scrolling! Would prefer a list view with Payer - Amount - etc. Would be more compact. There was too much scrolling up and down. Sorry. I've been a user since the DOS days in the 1980's.
