Tried TurboTax online (free version?) but was not able to add all my income. Purchased TurboTax Premiere so that I could include all my income. Was done with income and ready to start next when program locked up. Lost all the data. Started again and finally able to finish on the third try.

Turbotax is a great program for doing your taxes. Installation was a hassle! I mean what the heck is a Login Keychain Password?! once I figured that out, I got it started. Also, after the files are installed you need to swipe their icon into the applications. Then you need to go into applications and click on it there. Just a few hiccups on installation but everything after that was easy. This is typical of computer people. They always make it harder for normal people to use the software.

Poor instructions and online help for amending, requiring some trial-and-error to resolve. (And Intuit's heavy lobbying against IRS direct filing coupled with deceptive free-filing ads in previous years leaves a very bad taste.)

Your software has bogus errors that are keeping me from e-filing. - Digital Asset Name 'required', but none exists. None on the filing documents, nor on my 'records' documents.

you try to get money for us at all costs. Some parts dont work and enter a loop. I had to pay an accountant to finish the job with one the appications. It is a shame

This year's software did not save data and when it updated it erased the data that had been entered previously. It also did not fill in the information from last years data as it has done in the past.

Horrible experience finalizing the tax submission process at the very end. You think you are finished and ready to submit, but no, you will enter your billing information twice! I will definitely look elsewhere next year.

My tax filing came back after adjusted by the IRS because TurboTax did not add taxes due for social security which caused an additional payment and fine!

Could not transmit forms -got error message EIN was incorrect and it is not and have transmitted using that payor with that exact EIN for several prior years.

Manipulation of customers to use a cloud based product; Impossibility of working from last year's return which negates all reasons for using the Intuit products in future years!!!!!
