Importing my financial data was confusing since I chose Wells Fargo and not Wells Fargo Clearing. I called the help line and while waiting (45 min) i searched on line and found my problem. When the help person called, she was nice and wanted to make sure I got the answer I wanted. Also, inputting the RMD was difficult and the instruction could of been clearer on what I needed to do. Maybe Im just getting old but this year was more difficult that previous years.

It's easy and great to use! It's accuracy to detail, both Fed & State are indisputable. The walkthrough and questions ask during entry are excellent. It is such a relief to use, removes all the anxiety of doing taxes!! Makes me feel like I know what I'm doing! :-}

I have used TurboTax for over 20 years. The last few years, the quality has rapidly declined. There are so many software errors. It even forced me to complete a second state (KS), when the person didn't live or work in KS in 2025. The state was loaded into TurboTax because of another individual who did work in that state. I will most likely consider switching products next year

Very disappointed with turbo tax this year. First forced me to use windows 11. Support fpor window 10 should still have been supported. Second, required me to mail form 8453 with attached 8949 as opposed to allowing upload of pdf with supporting documentation. Other tax software currently supports this this capability.

First attempt was rejected due to an issue with form 1116. All the explanation your site gave was that there was an error in processing which would be fixed by Feb 22. It did not say whether the processing error was yours or the Feds. So on Feb 27, I updated the program and reran things. There were still no errors to correct. The only difference was that form 1116 had zeros in lines 32 and 33 where they had been blank the first time. I resubmitted, but don;t yet know if it was accepted this time, but I don't have much confidence.

Overall, I am really happy with how Turbo Tax helps me run through the process. I did have a few issues when the program reviewed any possible issues at the end. It took quite some time to figure out why there were issues and how to go back in to fix them. It would have been helpful if the program would have guided me back to the specific sections and showed how to proceed or why there were issues.

You made things more difficult to accomplish this year. I mistakenly chose to import investment info and apparently it interpreted this that I wanted to do it for every investment. And I couldn't figure out how to go back and undo that choice. So to fill in one number (interest) for several small accounts, I had to fight with it to let me just put the number in. These were accounts that I couldn't import the info for because they weren't on the list of choices. Just seemed overly complicated this year. Then when I got to the end and tried to file my forms, it informed me that it couldn't because I needed to update it. Why on earth didn't it tell me that when I first started filling the information to file the forms so that I didn't have to go through that again?

I have used Turbo Tax desktop for decades. When I start a new year, I import from the previous one, which keeps all my personal data and carry-forward information. It also transfers the bulk of the previous year's Forms, which is HUGE. I depend on the forms, and use them extensively. With the worksheets, I can determine how my data is used. Using the question/answer portion is tedious and slow, and not very intuitive. I always go back to the forms to see noy that info was used. I only uses the question/answer to ensure I have covered all topics. It is frustrating to go back to a section and have to answer the same questions I have already done! Keep my answers! You, Intuit, keep pushing to drive me to the online version, which I WILL NEVER DO for many reasons.

I found 2025 TurboTax very difficult to use. The downloads fromm brokage firms was easy, but too much data was loaded into TurboTax. This would normally not be a problem, however with one of my accounts (Pershing), many stock calls were purformed, resulting in many of the flags to be set wrong. This caused me hurs and hours of work trying to sort out this mess to get all of the TurboTax errors corrected. I believe I must now go to a Tax Accoount for future tax preparation. TurboTax greatly complicated my tax preparation and failed me this year.

everything went great until it keep asking about having digital assets under error review and I had no digital assets I couldn't get past that error which was a flaw in the software. I called support and they said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours they never called back so i kept trying to get my data through by deleting and rreadding the info and for some reason it all of sudden let me move on. then at the very end of hitting the send button to elec file it hit me with another issue that was easy to fix and wasn't mentioned in the review section all I can say is get it together!!!!
