TurboTax should have warned me that the IRS was not accepting returns with an energy-saving credit and when to expect to file. Intuit must have known about this prior to March 4 when my return bounced. Now I have waited until the date TurboTax supplied after the bounce, and I'll see if the return is accepted.

I have been a TTuser for more than20 years. I always purchase the program in mid November for trial runs and do end of year tax planning. This year the program was totally useless and not ready for use until mid/late January. I used on line TaxAct for my end of year tax planning. If TaxAct can be ready on time, then whats wrong with Turbo tax??? Changes in the interface this year were not intuitive. Overall.. a huge disappointment

The app does not make it easy to pay state income taxes. For example, after filing and during filing, there is no option to make a payment from within the app to the state, just a short message directing to some 3rd party website that accepts payments for the state.

Terrible experience this year. User of turbotax (TT) for over 20 years. Always had little issues here and there, but this year (tax year 2025) was the WORST! Where to start... 1) after finishing my deductions i get a pop up telling me i qualify and could save big by creating an IRA. So i did. Then after doing that (opening an IRA account for both me and spouse for $8K each) TT tells me, sorry, you don't qualify for an IRA deduction. 2) I enter all my 1099DIV forms which total up to $x. On the summary of income page for the 1099div line is indicates my summary at $y. When i mouse over the total to see what makes up the summary, it gives me $z. All three values were different, one by over $10k. Big impact to my taxable income, but no idea how to fix to the correct amount. 3) I saved my work one evening owing roughly $300 in fed tax. Next morning, I open TT and It now indicates I owe $10K in fed tax. I changed nothing! I should've filed the night before!! 4) Amounts uploaded from brokers and listed in the import section, do not match the amounts reported or listed in the income summary section, or the detail page. 5) Why are you pushing me to the website application? I don't want my data on your website. 6) And what is with the constant upselling throughout? I don't want any of it. Stop asking.

I am totally satisfied with the software's versatility, ease of use, nice interface, and the ability to either be guided through all topics or work individually with forms and schedules. It incorporates critical help topics for almost every possible scenario. All calculations are being performed automatically with high accuracy. The TurboTax Advantage subscription is very helpful because it provides uninterrupted service year after year.

Contrary to the experience of prior years, I encountered some annoying glitches, in particular with importing brokerage files. Also had to deal with the weird glitch concerning income from Canada...luckily, I found the solution to that by searching online for the experience of other TT users One feature that was very helpful: TurboTax lined up the prior year's 1099s for comparison with 2025 entries, and pre-filled the Payer's information blanks.,,a welcome time-saver

Secify what browser should be used for bank and investnment transfers. MicroSoft Edge and Firefox dont work well. Only Google Crome. It would save the customer time by not having to call for technical support to rersolve a browser compatibility issue.

TurboTax is mostly easy to use and gets the job done. This year I had more trouble than usual as some values got duplicated resulting in high taxes (but smart check said everything was fine). There were also some areas where it asked to fill out information, but the explanation was unclear. Still, it got the job done.

The product is accurate and does a great job in reviewing all aspects of tax categories. I always had success with using Turbo tax in past years and will continue in future years. However, I have had challenges with the product, namely: The UI is outdated and clumsy; small font is hard on older eyes and navigation is not intuitive. I had to use the wizard to enter data instead of entering directly into forms.

your 2025 software is TERRIBLE. CAN;T UPLOAD MY ACCOUNTS. IT KEEPS ASKING FOR AN ANSWER THAT ISN'T REQUIRED ON PART 3, THEREBY MAKING MY RETURN INCOMPLETE AND i CAN'T eFILE
