Don't need the expert advice, because turbo tax is very simple, ease of use, it interfaces with my banks and makes transferring information easier and W2 is a breeze to import the information , Also the features are so simple to use and never for 10 years had any audit issues, accuracy and support is the best, why need experts...

Would be beneficial, if the program would cross reference tax filings between parent/child (ie; dependent and person claiming them) as a box was missed on the dependent form, which in turn caused our return to be rejected, the dependent return having to be amended and paper filed, and ours to be refiled with ip pins. Also, the search assistant needs to be a wee bit smarter, just a wee bit. Lol. Def would have been more helpful if this feature of the program could answer the questions without me having to leave and go to the internet.

The program does a great job with all the tax calculations. It did have a problem finding an HSA error. I had placed the employer contribution in the information in the wrong area. I expected that once I had identified that I was on Medicare for the whole year it would have caught the excessive contribution by the employer before I submitted the document to the IRS and received a rejection notice. The help feature was not helpful. Chat did solve the problem.

My fourth year using TurboTax. Our return was more complex this year so TurboTax was an even greater help.I would add a function that explained how calculation were made and why values were what they were (you were able to use deductions to lower you AGI to $$$$$ for example)

I appreciated your team of helping me with the areas I was having a bit problems. The area that most troublesome to me was when I first link my license for downloading the program. I wasn't explained clearly what the proper steps of downloading to desktop, instead I opened up online version and started my entry. Next day trying to go back to where I was and found out I wasn't able to. I called you about this problem and the nice customer service person explained the download needed to be on desktop first for entering. She helped to recoup my entry from online to my desktop. I think going forward, maybe an instruction on download should be part of package for the turbo tax license,

In the "Forms" mode, please provide a list of forms that is in alphabetical order! The topic ordered list you provide almost makes sense in part, but it is really painful searching for obscure form names or numbers. Also, make that list searchable! You have many obscure demands, like you want to know if an investment is SEP or simple (or something else) but the 1099 check says it is SE/Simple. And you insist I chose 1.

This year I had issues initially with the program. I had to contact support for help. Support was helpful and got me on track. (had to uninstall and start over) With that said, too many extra hours of my time and it was a frustrating process. (This is my 6th year using Turbotax program and had no issues in the past.)

used to be better. Didn't seem to retain as many of my prior year answers Foreign tax is a nightmare, and your instructions don't really help. Had to rely on the old "make new 1099 Divs" for each country, and do all the footing. Would be nice if the program helped with that.

Major problem with accessing correct state form. Somehow you think everyone needs to file income taxes in Washington State (not true) and make that the free state download. Yes, some folks will need to file to claim a tax credit, but most do not. Some of us would prefer to use the free state download on another state (in my case, California due to assets related to inheritance). Sounds like a corporate trick to make more money by trying to force me to buy the California download when I (and many others) do not need the Washington State program such as it is.

Very low confidence that TurboTax is filling out the forms correctly. It doesn't handle things like multiple 1099-DIVs correctly, and every year I'm having to manually correct more of the entries. There's only minimal guidance / advice / analysis. Increasingly, it feels like it would be safer and just fast to fill out the raw IRS forms myself. Very dated UI.
