Generally, very good.

Generally, very good, and I've never had an accuracy issue. However, after I import all my forms, it moves to the update pages. Each box in these says need to review, and the pages has a link which supposedly leads to the review. However, when I click on the link, it wants to download he form again, and if I proceed it duplicates the form, doubling my income.

Has not improved over the years. Dumbed down

The fact that state tax (Arizona) has none of the easy user interface question as the federal return is getting a little old. and that you can return to a particular spot like you can in the federal. State forms have not changed over the years and you just haven't put any money ino making them better. "Ok, It's taking more the a little time" was cute 15 year ago. Get rid of it and give more practical information about when the app will actually open

Tax Disappointment

The changes to this years taxes were difficult to navigate. It included new issues with my 1099s. They also treated my 1099 R from my Gov. Pension differently, asking for information about my pension and asking me for my CSA number. I would have appreciated a heads up on changes this year so I would have been better prepared. I spent considerable time having to research the information you wanted. I expected Turbo Tax to make filing easier, I was disappointed. I will be looking at a other software for next years taxes.

Pretty good with a few hiccups this year

Always use TT each year. Tried the tax advisor options this year and wasn't thrilled. Several attempts to have my taxes reviewed were either unsuccessful or when I did get an agent on his support wasn't any better than what I could and did myself. Also there was some issues with the PA tax download that was misidentifying and this calculating in error that had to be worked around. First time I have really had any issues with TT and wil still us it next year.

You Guys Need to Get Your Act Together...

My experience was that in many cases,I knew more than they did and actually solved the last 3 issues keeping from being able to finish my return. One of your experts committed to follow-up with me after doing some research off-line to call me back exactly 2 hours later. They never called me back. No good!!! Also, they asked me to send them a file of last year's return, but of course couldn't tell me how to do that. Also said that they didn't have a tech department to call to find out. Not good!!!

Grateful forTurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for nearly 20 years to prepare my Federal and NY State tax returns.Having spent more than 20 years prior to TurboTax doing my taxes manually, I am grateful to have such a reliable, comprehensive, dependable and easy-to-use tax tool at my disposal. I must say though that I find the desktop version much more user-friendly than the on-line version.

Turbo Tax was terrible this year!!!!!!!!!

I have used Turbo Tax for years and this year was a terrible experience!!! I have talked with other members of my family and we all feel you should go back to your design in prior years and remember all of your customers are not young anymore, but still believe in following the law and filing my tax return each year!!

Proposed Enhancement feature of next year planning

TurboTax needs to develop features to allow users to perform tax planning estimates with next tax year. For example, I use last year's tax edition 2024 to prepare tax planning estimates for tax year 2025. TurboTax is excellent for next year tax planning, but needs to provide next year calendar dates for estimated taxes with options to update other calendar sensitive dates in current year edition for planning next year edition.

A couple things

TurboTax is efficient but needs to be a little more user friendly. Interchanging terms such a refund and overpayment can be confusing. additionally, if you are providing an opportunity to use an online and/or a desktop platform, they need to be seamless. The filing pin for online is 5 numbers, whereas the pin for desktop is 4 numbers. I changed to desktop when I had to verify my identity by confirming my 2024 AGI. This wasn't a problem but gave me pause to consider that there may be other inconsistencies if I continued with the online format. I also received an email that I didn't finish filing my return. I opened the email and noted that it was related to my not completing the online filing process. I completed filing with the desktop format after choosing not to use the online format and have confirmed that my returns were accepted by both State and Federal. However, I did not receive an email to that affect, again assuming that there is not a seamless transition between the two formats.

Online version has problems

I tried the online version of TurboTax, but there was a problem with the OH state version that caused my return to be rejected. I was told that a "fix" had been identified, and that I needed to wait until 3/19 to fix my return. Unfortunately the fix didn't address my issue. I was forced to revert to the desktop version, and mail my state return.
