I have used TurboTax for years. Each year the product makes entry of information a bit easier and understandable. The government makes filing taxes more difficult than it should be, without TurboTax I am sure I could not do it on my own. Additional information on tax topics is a click away, all forms are properly completed, reviews find areas that need further data imputed, downloads of data from investments is improved from past versions.

For the first time in many years I had some difficulty with the product. First on download of information, one of the downloads did not fill in all of the information. I had to go and redo that download, Thankfully I caught the mistake prior to filling. The second area is the interface. It was far more user friendly to manually enter data in the past. The new interface is no what I would call user friendly being much more cumbersome to go through. I really saw this when I was attempting to figure out what income I was missing.

For the last 2 years the software has not been able to locate the previous years version on my iMac. Also, it is not clear when your work has been saved and there is no clear save tab. There is also difficulty downloading financial institution data (Fidelity) forcing me to enter manually.

Straight forward ability to input taxes for current tax year filing. Suggestion: please add a feature whereby I can use this year's tax filing as a basis upon which i can model next years' taxes. I understand tax law can change and that my true tax tax obligation my be different. The IRS withholding tool is too coarse to give me the confidence I need forward projecting next years' obligation. TURBO TAX IS THE ONLY WAY THAT I FILE MY TAXES. I'VE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME. THE ACCURACY, THE SUPPORT, THE INTERFACE THAT IT FEATURES AND THE COMPATIBILITY THAT THE SOFTWARE HAS TO CONNECT TO OTHER TOOLS, TO HELP ME WITH COMPLETING MY TAXES, AND GETTING BACK A REFUND IS AWESOME.

I've used TurboTax for more than 30 years, and have always been satisfied with the final documents, despite software glitches over the last few years about which I could find no answers from the Community forum. Intuit would do well to analyze the hundreds of problems posted every year to create a troubleshooting guide with suggestions from the software developers, rather than the often unhelpful suggestions by user-laymen.

I have used turbo tax for many years and have been completely satisfied. All exceptions in my data this year result from Charles Schwab downloaded info. I cannot manually reconstruct the data Schwab has provided me. Either their systems are flawed or turbo tax is substandard (who would you pick). Exceptions noted present zero or otherwise minimal monetary changes to taxable results. I have already spent 50 hours attempting to rectify. Turbotax will not allow me to electronically file as is.

Did not communicate with you. Couldn't download 1099-R forms this time. TurboTax seemed to push me into purchasing something else rather than letting me move on. Sometime my mouse wouldn't work and I would have to touch the screen. I've used TurboTax for decades and this was the most challenging.

I have used Turbo Tax for probably 25 years or so .,..however long they have been around. I had more issues this year with things than in any previous year. Trying to get my EV credit into the return unsuccessfully and then having to back it out and file without it. Then I had to do an amended return and for some reason it remembered that I tried to put it in earlier and made it an nonrefundable tax credit. In short I had to do my entire return and mail in a hard copy of the amended return. Needless to say I may look elsewhere for tax software next year.

I have used TT Premier for many years and the 2025 version was slow in coming but straight forward to follow. I required some advise for which I paid. This advice was not particularly helpful and no follow up was permitted. I also consulted a TT expert -based in Texas- who was very helpful in sorting some difference between VA and CA filings. For the second year I used the TT download but these filing are not uploaded to TT. This is something I wish could be rectified.
