In a sane country, we would have access to a free e-file system that would obviate this dated software. Instead, we get the annual pleasure of paying an unnecessary and disinterested middleman increasingly brazen fees to be constantly harassed to move to an online version. They even have the audacity to hide a handful of fees inside the application, so you're never fully certain if the product you bought is a complete one, or just an introduction to a world of microtransactions and fearmongering. What a world!

You could improve the way you display investment titles. I have 3 Schwab accounts. The way you display them they all have the same title so I can't tell them apart. Solution: Allow the customer to have a 3 or 4 digit identification field so we will know which is which.

As an 11-year customer of TurboTax, it pains me to write a negative review, but it's time to face the truth. The truth is that in the age of AI TurboTax increasingly seems clunky and overpriced. I used FreeTaxUSA.com to complete the returns for one of my relatives. For relatively simple returns, it's a better product than TurboTax, and it's free. TurboTax needs to cut its price drastically to survive.

Completed my taxes with turbo tax okay. Tried to e-file and could not compete the credit card information. Tried 6-8 times and used different cards with same bad results. Your program to enter credit card information would not allow the expiration date month to enter using the pull down as directed. I am totally teed off. What a disappointment. I have been using TT for more years than I can remember. This year had to file by mail. Won't happen again.

I did work with one of your online experts who patiently worked through the entries that were causing the problem. Together we found the entries that needed to be corrected. We have both sent you suggestions for improvement next year. I've use Turbo Tax for the past 20 some years and appreciate all the auto carry forward totals that would be impossible to keep track of manually. Thanks again.

Navigating is painful and certain state forms are not available (CT PET) and you don't find that out until you pay for the state. Last year was understandable given CT's late ineptitude and late publication of the form, but that should have been remedied for the 2025 returns.

My financial institution, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, was not listed in the menu of options as it had been in years past. This added substantial time to the completion of my return as I had to enter all data manually and double check my entries manually. Merrill is a partner with Turbo Tax and I don't understand how it could have been omitted.

I had a bit of a problem imputing my financial data from my broker but after three days of working with TurboTax I got the right person Linda who was able to help me get the necessary information to TurboTax I need for my returns, She deserves a 10. Thanks Linda

Have used the desktop version for years. Consistent, straightforward, and simple. I am confident I have not overlooked anything. This year I started with the online version and became confused. Unable to cross reference things as I went along. Simply not comfortable with the version.

I use turbotax most years unless I have special tax situations that require additional assistance. I use the guided format and the hints on topics to help me. I find it helpful that last years information is imported so I can confirm I have all my forms. In general, it is relatively easy to complete my taxes. Thank you
