You make filing split tax returns difficult to accomplish. When you owe nothing in state tax return and you want to file fed by e-file and state by e-mail your program is hard to get accomplished. I had to go through the whole filing process to get my state e-filed and forced to pay the $25.

Turbo tax is easy to use and I have filed my own taxes for decades using this software. It is especially helpful with all the different forms that need to be filled in concerning interest, dividends, stock sales, etc. the help is usually very clear. It usually takes 2-3 hours for me to do my taxes, saving hundreds of dollars from paying a CPA

TurboTax and their reps and employees hold accuracy, compatibility, their features, the user interface and providing support to their customers at a very high standard. Thank you TurboTax for all that you did for my family and I. We appreciate all of your arduous work to provide a seamless interface for your customers. I have used TurboTax for over 20 years. The last few years, the quality has rapidly declined. There are so many software errors. It even forced me to complete a second state (KS), when the person didn't live or work in KS in 2025. The state was loaded into TurboTax because of another individual who did work in that state. I will most likely consider switching products next year

I really like Turbo Tax, but I found this new version a little unfriendly to use. It could be it was just that much different from the old version that I wasn't used to it but I didn't feel the information and follow through was presented as clearly in the past versions.

I read that top of the line computers with 64bit and the ESU could use windows 10. I cannot load win 11 on my hp zbook because there are too many possibilities I will lose old outlook email program and emails, and there is a chance of file loss. I had to buy a new computer to file so now i have two hp zbooks. very expensive. I will have to wait to see if irs accepts my filing and does not find any errors. It can take months because the irs does not notify filers of approval. I just have to wait months to see if they send me a letter. If I dont get a letter I will be happy and then I can rate TT

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 20+ years and found myself struggling with understanding how to enter data in this year's release of premier. I found that the format for listing Interest and dividends in one list was difficult to use. I would prefer that all interest and dividends be listed separately, since I separate both the interest and dividend statements into two groups.

Arizona requires a worksheet listing by source the Federal tax free income taxable in Arizona. I had to go back to Federal inputs to reconstruct the entries manually when the worksheet could have been populated from 1099 Div and K-1s. Please can this be automated going forward.

Ugly interface, and buggy, too. Crashed multiple times on an up-to-date Mac and somehow forgot to ask multiple state-required questions by the end so I had to go back and manually answer them. Multiple tax forms that I needed did not appear so I had to search manually. Even simple text input while writing this review is bugging out. And they have the gall to keep trying to squeeze extra money out of you throughout the process. I'm disgusted and will use the much more easy-to-use free options that are now available. Turbo tax used to have "it's deductible" which made summarizing no cash contributions straightforward. Now you have to click multiple times for every item. Turbo tax also used to provide an estimated tax for the next year from your previous year's taxes. Now you have to manually enter the information you already entered for your taxes in the w-4 form calculator. Turbo tax used to have understandable help and descriptions for items you are working on. Now they generally copy the incomprehensible IRS documentation and make you pay extra for live expert advice.
