1. Put the charities in alphabetical order or give me the ability to do this I have a lot o fcharities on the list. As I go trough receipts, I have to hunt for the charity to open 2. the prior method of entering charities was much better and streamlined. The change you made went backward. Please dont change methods unless its an improvement. 3. valuating item donations is less usable. There are fewer choices to select from, and require constant entry of dates for the same bag of items. My question to IT always is, are the changes made because some change is required every "X" years, or maybe a project for an intern? I've used TurboTax for more than 20 years and it was bothersome to use the revised method. 4. I was surprised I could not find an answer to what I feel is not an uncommon questioin. I am retired and have three income sources that need an RMD. But I take all the RMD from two of the three. The total of the withdrawals from the two more than cover the third. This is OK per discussion with others but wanted to see such in writing from Turbotax. Could not find anything from questions in the forum or in help.

I had a terrible time this year for the first time in many years. I had three state returns and was charged $25 each. I thought I was supposed to get one state free. I did my son's Federal return for the State of Washington. Turbotax got confused. It said no Washington State return was needed but insisted I fill out a State Return. There was no form to fill out. I have a feeling the return will be rejected.

I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years. It has been a great product; however these last three years or so, the quality of TurboTax has declined. The software has more noticeable bugs. This year I started with TurboTax Online and then switched to Desktop. I had an issue with the switch (can't remember the issue). I had to uninstall and reinstall the Desktop version. Then when it was time to work on my state return, it did not load the state portion. I had to uninstall and reinstall...again! Never had these issues before. The TurboTax development and testing teams need to do a better job to improve reliability and quality.

I like the importing of my brokerage tax documents. I was a bit disappointed with the help feature. I expected it to have more of an AI feel. I wanted clarification on a schedule B Div item and it was all over the place and useless when it came down to it. I posed the question to Gemini and it gave a perfect response. It won't be long before Gemini is doing taxes. Overall I'm glad I used the product because my taxes are done.

I had a couple issues. First one was that I could not pay for adding state returns with my new credit card since the expiration date was after 09 (September). This could NOT be resolved no matter who I spoke with nor after following all advice I found online.. I had to use a different credit card with earlier expiration date. Second issue was that my Oklahoma Tax form forced me to fill out a form 561NR for capital gain deductions when I had sold a property in Colorado. I should NOT have been required to fill out this form according to Chat GPT, since I had no gains in Oklahoma, and I wasn't able to properly choose a "Type of property sold" for question 2 on this form. I had to pick "99" even though this was an invalid choice. Hopefully my return will not be rejected because of it!

This year I was really apprehensive about doing my taxes by myself, Lots of changes! Retirement, Social security, Pensions, Rollovers, sale of property, etc. I have trusted Turbo tax for 30 years & I knew I would be ok! I had questions & I learned things. Turbo tax walked me through everything. Questions answered in the community, also Look-Up, were all very helpful! When I was done, I was nervous that I may have put something in the wrong place, So I got the Adviser, The best $60.00 I have ever spent! We reviewed the entire file with screen share. The advisor was the nicest man, he answered all my questions & checked that everything was in order! No rushing, he took his time! He was Awesome! Peace of Mind= Priceless!

I would prefer rather than calling if I could text or email a question to the turbotax accountant. For me that would be easier than trying to explain an issue over the phone. Also, sending a photo of the page in question would be helpful. But that's just me. Thanks, dm

I always seem to run into some type of issue. This year I could not pay the $25 fee to file state taxes last night. Ended up working early this morning. Still had problems with the foreign tax credit and had to use the same workaround I had to pay Intuit for advice last year and I kept getting a strange error message about during the review about having my state taxes directly debited--didn't have much confidence they'd actually get debited so I'm mailing a check. I've used TurboTax for over 25 years and the last few years I say this is the last year I'll use it.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years now, but this was the first year that the program was unable to help with calculating estimated taxes by 15-Jan-26. I'm retired, and I usually put my final estimates of my taxes in before 15-Jan so I can get a rough idea of my total tax liability and make sure my final estimated tax payment is correct, but this year Turbo Tax had many sections that were not ready, including rental property, capital gains, etc.

The software is really good, but there's a bug in the K-1 processing. The K-1 creates a loop when it comes time to electronically file. For field 17, it says it needs more information but doesn't tell you what the info is. I had to put false information in the field to get around the bug. I better not get audited because of it.
