TTax was great for the Federal Return, but became very difficult at the end of the state return. I had state tax due but was not required to pay a penalty. Nevertheless, TTax insisted that I fill out a form 2210AL worksheet even though the worksheet said I did not need to submit a 2210AL form. It kept asking me questions for which I did not have an answer. So, I just put $0 in all those questions to finally get out of the worksheet. This caused hours of additional work because I was trying to find answers to the questions it kept asking.

Overall Experience was good. But when I went to pay the state tax filing fee, on the Credit Card Entry form it would only allow you to enter experation months up to 10 (oct) and my main CC expires in 12 (Dec) So this was annoying so I had to go use another CC that had an earlier Month Epiration DAte. Be nice if you could fix this for next yea.

I really like the task top version of the Tubo tax, had been using it since 2008. Please stop telling me I should switch to the on-line version. And stop telling me I need to buy the Adviser Service. It sounds like whoever using the app are dump. I already Paid $80 for the for the app. If you really want to help, should provide AI help instead.

Well what can I say I have used Turbo Tax since 2006. It has always been easy until this year. I think that the accuracy is mostly good, I did not find any errors, though it would probably be hard for someone that did not have at least a working understanding of Tax code and Accounting to be certain that everything was right. I personally spreadsheet everything and then make sure that Turbo agrees.

Using the guided program was changed this year and not from the better. Hard to put my finger on why but generally the navigation was not as smooth and I had to go in an out to find what I was looking for. I'm likely to still use the product but not finding it as intuitive and helpful as in the past

I've been using TurboTax for over 30 years. Maybe not next year. The price increase was more than I expected and I had issues with the importing of information from last years return. Not all data was transferred requiring me to enter it manually. I'm disappointed.

The step-by-step interface always feels a bit scary because I don't quite know what it means. I was forced this time to use the direct forms view for ESPP this time because the step by step left it completely broken. The smart review made it worse because it tried to fix fields in an apparently random order with a claustrophobically small view of the form being amended. I finally cleared the worksheets in question and started over. I feel that for anything beyond a trivial filing that a form centered view with a step-by-step guide might be better. Anyone that is afraid of seeing and working through a form with smart guidance should probably purchase assistance.

I feel a little uneasy about this year's return due to some issues with imported documents. Still love using TurboTax just wish that some things were better. (i.e.: I use TurboTax every year and every year you ask how much I paid for tax prep and I have to go look it up when you have that information) Other than that I will continue to use and recommend your software.

So much push to purchase products inside the program now. Also, the online linking is annoying. I prefer to keep my information off the internet as much as possible. Once was a solid 10 out of 10. Last few years it's sliding down. I used to be able to ask a question no problem now it is charge for this charge for that.

I was deeply disappointed that TurboTax would only run on Windows 11. My computer could not be upgraded so I spent $1000 to buy a laptop. I did not like the changes. I was confused at how to download my information from the Merrill Lynch site. The program kept asking me if I wanted to download from QuickBooks or some other file. I finally stumbled on the correct way to get to the site. I think there should be a number to call if you're having trouble navigating the software. (Is there?) I was disappointed that when I could not figure out how to subtract my before-tax charitable contributions from my RMD, my only option was to submit that question and have another user answer. In summary, I can figure out how to calculate my taxes, but I always have some frustrations using the software. I don't need a tax expert, but sometimes I would really like to talk to someone who understands the software. I did manage to get through it.
