We use the Premier for residential rentals and the depreciation was held up. We signed up for updates to advise when it was ready. We did not get an updates until I went into the community to see if that was helpful. I took some time but I thought the comments meant it was ready and it was.

TurboTax requirement to be installed on drive c: makes a two year TurboTax install, on both PC if upgrading PC, this year and next year as information does not transfer well if not installed on c: drive. There may be 'best practices' to require c: drive install but from 'user' standpoint it would be 'best' if I could install and run from 'other' than c: drive.

The turbotax software can feel predatory to use. When moving through filing, fees add up and there is little explanation or transparency as to where costs come from or why they are added. This problem could be solved by adding an intial pricing feature "Hey here is our updated prices and why they are there!" , or even an intial tax entry with something like "Lets get you started on our Pricing Feature- Dont worry, information here will carry over to return once you select your level" Not that I expect somthing like this to actually happen, but it would increase my trust the program and build confidence about avoiding hidden fees. Also, this AI generated review topic box is annoying, every time a new 'suggested review topic' is selected it deletes the text I am typing. If I am typing quickly sometimes it deletes a whole line. I cant select them either? They just appear and dissappear randomly as I type...

I loathe the constant barrage and outright trickery trying to get your consumers/users to buy more and more of your accessories and ancillary products. I feel like I'm at McDonalds! "Do you want fries with that? How about dipping sauce? A desert? . . . "

I could not download info from my financial institutions with 2025 version. Last years version worked. The 2025 version was more difficult to use that the 2024 and previous versions. Did you hire some microsoft people to goof up your software like they do for every new version of windows?

I've used Turbo Tax for decades, but no more. The quality has steadily declined. It is basically just the forms and the help is useless. The price is high and their fees are too much especially given the poor quality. I've decided to use a local accountant who will do it for me and e-file it for less than this tax software. By the way, the Intuit sign-in is enough to drive a person insane. NEVER AGAIN!!

Working with TurboTax takes the stress out of filing taxes. It is easy to follow and has help screens when you need extra information. I know they also offer live support and that gives the user another level of confidence when using the software. The ability to upload tax documents keeps records accurate and saves the user time too. This year I was able to scan W2s which worked out very well.

Been using turbotax for many years. Never again. Wouldn't forward info from 2024, wouldn't save properly, errors, edit and delete buttons hidden only found them by moving the mouse around, review didn't find a missed field that stopped the file process. I can go on and on. Struggled through to get it done. Got a message that the Idaho state was not yet update a few weeks before the deadline. Used to be good but not anymore.

While getting the correct info is always troublesome, the software handles most situations. Getting through the submission of the data is very difficult and this year it was not possible. The reason for the e-file not getting through to the IRS was first (the software needed an update) that was wrong because I reloaded the software and there were no new changes. The second (there was some sort of State not agreeing with previous state submissions) . The issue was impossible to find to make things correct.

The overall impression is that TurboTax doesn't care about improving the user experience and is more intent on extracting more money from its users. Clunky interface. Duplicate information needed too often State product is poor - very basic information/help is provided on what is required for particular boxes. seems poorly integrated with federal I couldn't file electronically because TT can't cope with a foreign pension. I'll be looking for alternatives next year
