It's okay. I liked it better a few years ago.

I prefer the older format. Also, geting help understanding particular entries was difficult. The help app via turbo tax was difficult to use. I often actually went on-line and asked how to access a particular aspect of turbo tax - like "where do I enter ***".

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and been happy with it. Something changed this year and I had difficulty navigating the screens and made several mistakes with forms, downloading info from my accounts, and getting the information correct. I even duplicated dividend forms and almost didn't catch it. I will revaluate my options next year.

Check for updates? where is it?

I had one problem with the software when I could not easily find how to check for updates. In the past i remember there being a pop up to check for updates. this time I was prompted to check for updates before continuing but I couldn't remember where to find check for updates so i called TurboTax. While talking to the support person i remembered where it was.

Turbotax help!

I would prefer rather than calling if I could text or email a question to the turbotax accountant. For me that would be easier than trying to explain an issue over the phone. Also, sending a photo of the page in question would be helpful. But that's just me. Thanks, dm

Turbo Tax is broken

The payment method would not take any credit card payment. I tried 5 different credit cards and none of them were accepted. The only way to electronic file was to pay another $40 to Turbo Tax to have the money withheld from my federal refund. WHAT A RIP OFF Turbo Tax!!!!!!!! I check online and found many, many other people are having the same problem, it just isn't me like the help person stated. LIES!!!! FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!! When I do my taxes and this problem is still an issues I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING TURBO TAX IN THE FUTURE.

One would think Turbo Tax would be better by now

Product does a reasonable job of walking a taxpayer through topics but seemingly skips sections which must then be addressed through the summary page, when it becomes clear the tax software thinks a section is complete, yet entire topics have been omitted. A knowledgeable taxpayer can easily navigate, knowing what needs to be accomplished. Also, paying for a State filing with a credit card via the Intuit site is the most difficult purchase I've ever made online... incredibly poor webpage layout and clumsy interface. Just terrible.

Awesome !

My fault for waiting so long to file however. it would be great if you guys did support these older years of turbo tax and at least let them connect to the server! Absolutely zero help in getting them to work. But I did manage. Just a thought. I love turbotax programs... I have been using it since 2001

TurboTax is Good. But AI is Bad and Getting Worse

In general, this was always a great program for filing my taxes. I've been using it for over 25 years. I like that it saves my information and I just plug in the new info. It used to be quick and easy to use. I like the new products you've added like Audit Defense and Live Review if I need it. But your AI generated review topics are maddening. And this year, I was unable to print a full copy of my entire tax return. Ugh!!! I have had it with AI. I've been a computer nerd for many years and it's driving me crazy! I can't imagine how a lay person can use this easily.

12 K is a Big Mistake

Went with the interview mode all the way through and passed the review with no issues. Went into the forms mode and found an incorrect TurboTax assumption that was costing me over $12,000. The assumption had not triggered any warning, I was lucky to have found it. Took a look at the warranty and found that I would have had to have filed and paid and then filed a corrected version requesting the 12k back. As justification to get a partial refund of the purchase price of the software. No thanks.

Great software, but the website is not responding

c O U L D TurboTax works fine. On the other hand, the related website is again not responding to attempts at making payment to file the state return because it does not respond to repeated attempts to edit the payment method. My credit card used last for payment changed, but I cannot make the payment because the website stalls when attempting to add a new payment method. This is after at least three attempts, so I have delayed filing the state return. I also had this kind of difficulty when filing with TurboTax in 2025 for my 2024 filings.
