I thought it was pretty good - flavor good, but a little dry with the meat and masa. I did however, put some salsa on it to make it moist and that worked. I would probably get it again if I was in the mood for tamales or bring to a party.

I truly did not expect these to be as good as they are. I am very picky about my tamales. The cornmeal part of these is moist and not crumbly. They are wider than many tamales, and there's a lot of meat inside. The pork is also spicy and surprisingly flavorful. I love that you can zap these in the microwave and have dinner ready in under five minutes. They are tasty enough to eat as is, but I plan to try toppings such as chili and cheese or lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream next time. These are a definite keeper. The texture is pretty nice and the flavor is pretty good, I suggest adding hot sauce on top for an extra kick. Overall these are solid tamales.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These tamales were easy to find at Sam's Club. The price point was good for 10 tamales. I microwaved one for lunch, following the instructions, and it was easy to do. The masa was edible, slight corn taste. The pork filling was dry and unappealing to look at. It was bland and flavorless. It had no sauce or even the taste of sauce. Unfortunately, I will not be a repeat customer of this product.

I also like your Carnitas which can be made in several different ways, from chili Verdi to tacos el pastor and even add BBQ sauce However, just plain Carnitas crisped in a pan served with rice and beans. I only wish I could buy your product line in my area Frederick, MD 21701. Your web says they are sold a Giant food they are not.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Worst tamales ever, don’t get me wrong there are some decent store bought ones. The masa tasted like processed baby food mush and pork (I couldn’t get past the masa to try the meat). I was planning to return it but we ended up throwing it out. Hope this helps.
