Does its job.

This fridge is what I expected. Has a large upper freezer. The shelf is a nice feature that my old fridge did not have. The main fridge does its job. Would have had three shelves if the top freezer was made smaller. Other than that, no complaints.

Great value, nice machine

Works great. You can adjust the freezer and refrigerator temperatures separately, which I find very useful. The machine looks like it will be easy to service if anything ever breaks. The electrical and mechanical panels on the back are removable and there's a wiring diagram stuck on there.

HEIGHT & NO FREEZER LIGHT

The refrigerator is good except that it is very low to the floor. I hit my foot every time I open the door.. Also I am very disappointed that the freezer doesn't have a light. When asking for instructions, and asking for where I live, Canada is my only option, I live and bought the refrig in USA..

Hi Carole! Thank you for sharing your feedback on your new LTCS20020W refrigerator. We are glad to hear it is performing well, but we want to make sure your experience is as comfortable and seamless as possible. To help prevent the door from catching your foot, we recommend checking the two front leveling feet underneath your refrigerator. Turning these feet clockwise raises the unit, which can provide additional clearance from the floor while also creating a slight rearward tilt that helps the doors close more smoothly. Regarding the lighting, this model features LED illumination in the fresh food compartment but is not equipped with a dedicated freezer light. We completely understand how helpful a freezer light would be and will be sure to share your feedback with our product design team. Finally, we apologize for the frustration you experienced when trying to access our support site and finding Canada as the only country option. Since you purchased and use your refrigerator in the United States, you can find the appropriate product resources through the LG USA Support Page: https://www.lg.com/us/support. If you need any further assistance, our LG Canada support team is also available through https://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/contact-us/. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention and for giving us the opportunity to address them.

LG stainless steel 30" wide fridge

I would have given it 5 stars, but I am unhappy the doors don't automatically shut on their own. My previous 20 year old fridge did, and I was so used to it, that on several occasions I've walked away with leaving the door slightly ajar. I know, a habit to unlearn....

Thank you for such a genuine and charming review! We completely understand how switching from a refrigerator you used for 20 years can come with a few unexpected adjustments — those little habits become part of everyday life before we even realize it. It’s actually quite funny how something as simple as a self-closing door can stay so deeply ingrained after all those years! We’re glad to hear this was more of a learning curve than a major issue, and we truly appreciate you sharing such honest feedback in such a thoughtful way. Thank you again for choosing LG and for welcoming your new refrigerator into your home. Reviews like yours add such a personal touch and genuinely help others who may be making the same transition from an older appliance. If you ever need assistance, you can reach us at 1-888-542-2623 or via live chat or email here: https://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/contact-us/

Works exactly as it should.

Fridge is simple and woking great. No water or ice dispenser, but everything is keeping cold below 40 in fridge and at 0 or below in freezer. The layout is also simple in terms of two shelves that you can set at different heights as well as two on door. For a single man that does cook and this is perfect for me. Holds enough in both sections.

Nice basic model.

Purchased a year ago online during covid pandemic supply chain challenge. I needed a fridge right away and settled on this one for brand and color (I really dislike stainless.) It seems to maintain temperature fine. If the space for your fridge is in a corner like mine (next to a wall), be aware that removing the shelves is difficult. They come out best if you can open the door beyond 90 degrees, something I can't do in a corner. The shelves hit the door and won't come out easily. Also be aware that the glass inserts of the shelves do not come off the frames so if you spill liquids and the liquids get under the glass, you will not be able to clean under the glass. My previous fridge had the glass simply sitting in the frame and the glass could be completely removed and cleaned on both sides. These shelves have the glass attached (glued?) permanently and do not allow for removal of just the glass for cleaning. There is now dry liquid under the glass that I can't clean. GROSS! Also, be aware that when you close the fridge door, the freezer door pops open briefly and if the slightest thing is gently pressing on the inside of the freezer door, it will not close and will allow the freezer to thaw. Also, you have to use a good amount of force to close the fridge door or it will not close all the way (See video: https://youtu.be/f0u3MG8RhhI. This platform only allowed for the attachment of one video so I'm adding the link to the second video here.) Too much force, freezer opens. Note enough force, fridge door doesn't close. It's sleek and functional, but these little "inconveniences" make me think twice about buying LG in the future without full vetting in person in the store.

My new LG fridge

Nice fridge & good value for the price. I love the fact that fingerprints don’t really show on this fridge. It has a bigger freezer which means the rest of the fridge is a bit low. A little disappointed that there was no deli drawer and no alarm when the door is left open

Fridge/Freezer configuration.

Having used the fridge for a while, we're thinking we should have gone with the bottom freezer model. We are finding there is a lot of stooping involved with getting things in and out of the fridge.

Not happy with new frige.

I just purchased this refrigerator 5 days ago. Part of this is my oops! Most is poor design. First off, there is no meat & cheese pull out tray, at least that's what I call it. My oops because I didn't notice it. The second thing is if you use the butter substitute with square tubs you can't close the lid on the butter tray. If you use the rectangular tubs like "I can't believe" or regular butter they will fit. The main shelves can't be adjusted so they are all usable. The space from the middle shelf to the bottom shelf won't hold a 1 litter bottle standing up even when it's been raised up to the next higher position. The top shelf will hold them with about 1/4 inch to spare. All the shelf locations seem to be located wrong. The two bins at the bottom are LARGE which I think is part of the problem. If you are vegetarian or vegan, (no problem with this), you can store a lot. Then the problem will be all the produce on the bottom may be a little smushed. The doors do hold a lot but no dividers so when opening and closing the doors things fall over. Weight on the doors will probably cause problems with the hinges. I went from a 21 cubic foot Frigidaire to this 20.2 foot LG and feel like I lost 3 cubic feet someplace. I'm sorry I bought it but can't afford to get rid of it. Will probably make some of my own upgrades. When shopping for something like this, make a list of what you really need in order of importance. With no meat tray I wouldn't have bought it. Hope that helps.
