Fridge/Freezer configuration.
Having used the fridge for a while, we're thinking we should have gone with the bottom freezer model. We are finding there is a lot of stooping involved with getting things in and out of the fridge.

Excellent Refrigerator
This is a basic, no frills but excellent refrigerator. It cools my food well and I like the shelves and the drawers for fruit and vegetables. Noise level is excellent. I have had no issues with frost build up. It seals well and is easy to open and close. It looks excellent as well.

Works exactly as it should.
Fridge is simple and woking great. No water or ice dispenser, but everything is keeping cold below 40 in fridge and at 0 or below in freezer. The layout is also simple in terms of two shelves that you can set at different heights as well as two on door. For a single man that does cook and this is perfect for me. Holds enough in both sections.

Not happy with new frige.
I just purchased this refrigerator 5 days ago. Part of this is my oops! Most is poor design. First off, there is no meat & cheese pull out tray, at least that's what I call it. My oops because I didn't notice it. The second thing is if you use the butter substitute with square tubs you can't close the lid on the butter tray. If you use the rectangular tubs like "I can't believe" or regular butter they will fit. The main shelves can't be adjusted so they are all usable. The space from the middle shelf to the bottom shelf won't hold a 1 litter bottle standing up even when it's been raised up to the next higher position. The top shelf will hold them with about 1/4 inch to spare. All the shelf locations seem to be located wrong. The two bins at the bottom are LARGE which I think is part of the problem. If you are vegetarian or vegan, (no problem with this), you can store a lot. Then the problem will be all the produce on the bottom may be a little smushed. The doors do hold a lot but no dividers so when opening and closing the doors things fall over. Weight on the doors will probably cause problems with the hinges. I went from a 21 cubic foot Frigidaire to this 20.2 foot LG and feel like I lost 3 cubic feet someplace. I'm sorry I bought it but can't afford to get rid of it. Will probably make some of my own upgrades. When shopping for something like this, make a list of what you really need in order of importance. With no meat tray I wouldn't have bought it. Too little room
I am disappointed in the amount of shelves and storage drawers. It is the same sq footage, but LG skimped on door shelves. I have to put my 12 egg carton next to my mustard bottle. Again, I am very disappointed.

Simple, Spacious, Nice Looking fridge
It's a very spacious and quiet refrigerator. I especially like the extra deep door shelves in both the freezer and fridge. It comes in very handy for wide items like milk jugs and ice cube trays. I only give it 4 stars because the top shelf in the fridge feels a little flimsy and I did see some display models in stores with cracked shelves. So far, mine is holding up though so I cannot complain too much. 4 stars.I am very happy with it's performance and styling. I don't need any extra bells and whistles.

Stainless Steel and Efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old fridge died and we purchased this 1. I luv it! Its stainless steel and it looks great. I have the traditional freezer on top and I luv it! No bending for ice and frozen items. The fridge part has drawers that allow you to change humidity levels depending on what you put in them. The middle of the fridge has large shelves and the door has roomy shelves for tons of condiments and other items! Its totally quiet.

Best refrigerator for the price
I'm surprised that this refrigerator only has a 4.3 overall review average. My experience has been nothing less than fantastic. I was looking for a refrigerator for a condo I am selling and didn't want to layout thousands of dollars. I'm not going to mention the brand, but the one I initially bought wouldn't cool to any lower than 44 degrees when set to its highest. This LG went to 38 degree when set to the middle of it's range along with a 0 degree freezer. Really impressive. It's also very quiet. While I'm writing this review I have to suggest bringing a product back that you discontinued years ago. The best TV I ever owned was your 3D model. It finally bit the dust and I wish that you would give some consideration to bringing it back.
