After a month of use, we are completely satisfied with this washer. My clothes look and smell fresher than our previous high efficiency other brand washer --using the same detergent. I love the deep wash feature and other options. It is also very quiet....and I love when it sings to me that my wash is finished!

I am amazed with the self balance feature. I also love the timer which let's you see how much time is left in your cycle. The spin cycles really extract the water. I am telling you, this washer has cut my laundry time in half. I bought the washer with the see through lid. It is awesome. I enjoy watching it self balance. If you are on the fence about a washer get this one. I read the reviews, LG was the winner.

My last washer did not have an agitator, I won’t make that mistake again and am glad I went with this one. My clothes used to get frayed and not as clean as they should in the last machine. I’m actually glad it finally broke for good. Now I have this LG and I am liking it a lot!

I like this washer. It is very quiet. The spin cycle is extremely efficient to the point of cutting my dryer time down by half a cycle. I like the window lid so I can see what is going on. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is we are rural and our water is from a well. If my water pressure is low the washer error codes and I cannot skip to the next function. I have to restart from the beginning. I have learned to space out my wash loads to wait for the well pump to get back up to pressure.

My new LG Direct Drive/Agitator machine is 10 times the machine that I just replaced. This machine is quiet, and very fast. I am over the top happy with it.

I am happy with my purchase. The washer seems solid and I am looking for dependability. I have several LG TVs and I love them. I need to buy more appliances because they are aging. I will definitely be looking at LG before considering any competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago and it has many settings, do pay attention to how to use the settings I used bedding option for my bed sheets which was actually way too harsh for my delicate sheets so do pay attention to what each setting does but other than that does do a good job

I bought this machine a month ago, choosing it because of a Consumer Report account saying it was one of the best machines to buy. At first, I was frustrated because the thin manual I was given at purchase had insufficient instructions to let me know how to do anything but a normal load. I went online and watched some YouTubes to learn how to work the other features of my machine. In many ways, the buttons on this machine look more like a computer than a washing machine. For example, the instructions said to press "Pause" if a load got off kilter. Nowhere on my machine could I find the word "Pause" and I didn't know which button the manual was referring to. I learned online that the pause button looks like what is on my television remote for pausing a program. I think that if pictures were in the manual this would significantly improve the learning process to make this machine more user-friendly to the consumer, as these washing machines differ from other machines I have owned. So far, I am very pleased with how well it is cleaning my clothes.
