I had to replace my washing machine that I've had for the last 15 years, I did some research prior to my next purchase and this washing machine by LG had rave reviews. I have the machine for a month now and it does an amazing job at getting clothes, bedding and even small rugs clean! I enjoy all of the features it offers and it cleans with a minimal amount of detergent, powder, pods, or liquid. There's even a specific drawers to add bleach or fabric softner.

I always use the deep fill cycle otherwise there is not enough water to get the clothes clean. I use the bedding cycle for a king size bedspread and it did a good job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer seems to wash clothes well even though it seems to be using less water for most loads. Getting used to "bells and whistles" that we didn't need but we're getting used to new features. Overall very happy with purchase.

This is a good washer, does a good job and has a strong spin cycle which is important to me, but the options for the type of wash I would like are very limited. There is no “manual” wash that I can set exactly what I want. And I don’t have any control over the amount of water used. It’s supposed to determine how much by weight, but I find that it really doesn’t get it right very often.

Cleans the clothes well, and has a fun little jingle with the wash is done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a thorough researcher and opted for this LG as the brand continually is rated high and wanted a top load (call me old school). Worked fine and seemed to do the job. Ask me now, 5 months later and I couldn’t recommend it less. Drain pump seemed to go out and also water fill sensor as well since while diagnosing the draining problem, filled it with some leftover water and it just wouldn’t stop. I wanted to be “nice” and give 2 stars but that said fair but big issue rising 5 months in isn’t good. Also dealing with the warranty and waiting another already 10 days for a replacement since that’s really there only option since there are no authorized repair services open or around which we waited over a week for that result. All told, about 2 weeks in and still waiting. Not good. And not fun having to drive to wash clothes…. :/

I was looking for a washer machine that had an agitator, and I found this one. It has a 10 year warranty on the motor. That is a plus! I have had this washing machine for 3 weeks. It is so quiet that I am amazed. It has a quick wash that's 26 minutes. I live this washer. The best feature is that you can sync the washer to your phone to troubleshoot or delay washing.

Before I made this purchase, I went to the Internet to get information on user reports, reliability and also user instructions. Good that I did since user's guide delivered with the machine is cryptic as are most such guides. -I like to dry bedclothes outside, but the weather is not always amenable, so I sometimes have two changes stored in the laundry area. Not a problem for this machine which can handle more than two changes plus other items. -I really like the glass top so I can see what's happening inside despite the lid being locked. I need to see that because water restriction negatively impacts the cleaning operations and sometimes I try to find a way to slightly increase the water level to make it clean more thoroughly. I've learned that deep washing is offered thru two control settings which appear to have the same effect but I'm still learning what the laundry types mean, like what does the "light soil" setting do for the user. I also needed to extract water (per your instructions) from an item that I had handwashed ahead of the main wash and got the idea that a small item with some water in it could fool the weighing process into reporting somewhat more washing items than really present. A small increase in water consumption results but the clothes in these loads seem cleaner. Yet I'm not using the full deep wash function so that the amounts of extra water and time may be small. - Also like the film-covered controls which should never be damaged or compromised by the water commonly spread around the laundry area. - And like the cycle time readout from which I can set my smart phone timer to alert me to the need for a response by me to the machine. - Like the Spin Only setting to extract water from my handwashing which is usually small but cannot stand being wrung out by hand. I also use this in combination with a slower spin out speed when washing a large, heavy load. I program a slow spin for the end of the wash cycle and then follow that with a short high speed Spin Only when the load has a reduced weight. - And this machine does not startle with loud clangs as did my older machine. - With multiple washing modes available, combined with 'modifier" opportunities, this washer is a remarkable machine likely to handle all but one of my washable bedclothes items.
