Great Freatures

I'm not sure why the negative reviews.. I just got my washer and dryer 2 weeks ago and LOVE THEM BOTH !! no issues and no problems if you just do some research(you tube) and read the manual you would honestly be surprised at how well this machine washes the clothes etc... speed wash is a excellent cycle to use for reg load ... do not overload do sperate loads and YES You can add more water if needed but the washer cycles pretty much knows how much water it needs to use

Not so good.

The washing cycle of the LG is deficient. It does not fully revolve the clothing from top to bottom. Many pieces stay at top all the time and some don't even get wet. Spinning of heavy bedding pieces is terrible.

lasted 3 years and had constant problems, after 3 years the warranty ended so i had to buy a new one almost immediately. I have LG computer monitors and an LG tv that have lasted 10+ years. what a piece of junk washer from a company that makes fantastic electronics.

Hi, Matt. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG Washer. The way you described dealing with repeated issues over three years and then needing to replace the washer right after the warranty ended gives a clear picture of what you’ve been dealing with. Your note about having LG monitors and a TV that have lasted a decade really highlights the contrast you’ve experienced. To allow us to properly investigate the details of your specific product model and to see if there is anything we can do to assist with this washer‑performance and longevity issue being encountered, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com if you need further assistance. ^James

How are you calling this a washing machine?

Worst machine I’ve ever owned. If you place a folded item into the wash it remains folded. Dirty clothes stay dirty. Minimal amount of water used. I thought washing meant using water.! I follow a TikTok that shows vintage washing machines washing clothes from the 1950s and 60s. The agitator cleaned the clothes fiercely. How did we improve from this we didn’t. How am I conserving water when I’m washing my loads 2 to 3 times to get them even wet. I’ve tried every setting and nothing works. It’s a waste of my time and it’s a waste of my money.

Terrible

I really wanted to like this LG top-loading washing machine, but unfortunately, I have been extremely disappointed with its performance, it simply does not do its job. I frequently have to pre-treat, spray, and even scrub stains before putting clothes in the washer, and even then, stains often remain. I have also found that some loads need to be washed more than once before the clothes feel truly clean. That defeats the purpose of having a washing machine that is supposed to do the work for you. I also regularly find lint and residue left on clothing after washing. Instead of coming out clean and fresh, some clothes come out needing to be washed again. Basically, I hate this machine. I hate the locking lid, I hate the settings, I hate the lack of water, I hate that it does not clean your clothes. Overall, I strongly dislike this product.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and review for your LG WT7005CW Washer. We recognize your experience with the cleaning performance, lint residue on clothing, and cycle settings. To help optimize washing results and residue removal, please avoid overloading the tub so garments move freely, load items loosely around the agitator, use the proper amount of HE detergent, and select the Deep Fill option or Heavy Duty cycle for heavier soils. Great capacity short lived suspension

We bought this machine due to the large capacity needs however did not realize that it really can't handle large capacities because it's suspension is not made for that there's no room after seven months of use the spin kept failing And shaking discovered that there was damage to the suspension And we had to Get it replaced with another washing machine after seven months

Not built with tight tolerances. Shakes and noisy.

Built quality is poor. Tolerance levels are not defined. Came with a wobble and shake. Over a few months it got much more pronounced. Center agitator vibrates all over the place during spin cycle. Drum is out of alignment. Makes noise due to vibration and shake. And caused a noise compliant due to noise the machine make to the apartment down stairs.

Hello, Leandro. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and feedback regarding your LG WT7005CW Washer. We always strive to deliver exceptional build quality, balanced performance, and smooth structural engineering for our laundry appliances, and we want to help ensure your unit washes quietly for your home. To address the heavy vibration and noise during spin cycles, we recommend verifying that the washing machine is resting firmly on a level, solid floor, adjusting the leveling feet if necessary, and ensuring that the laundry loads are balanced evenly inside the drum rather than clumped to one side. For a comprehensive walkthrough and additional troubleshooting steps regarding structural vibration and noise management, please visit our official help resource at https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-front-load-washing-machine-noises-the-door-is-making-a-vibrating-noise--20154712613876. DO NOT buy this washer !!!!!!!

I was really liking this washer until I started looking for the LINT FILTER. It is not in the instruction manual or the information that is in very small print on the Sam’s Club page for this washer. I emailed LG but got no answer. I called LG customer service and was told to call a different number, given to me by the representative, as they did not have that information. I called for 4 days and never got an answer. After searching the internet I finally was able to find the info. You have to either: TAKE THE BACK PANEL OFF; TAKE THE TUB OUT; or REMOVE THE TOP OF THE WASHER TO FIND THE LINT FILTER. I kid you not. You will not find the lint filter in all of these places. You must look in each place until you find it. not even with the model number does it tell you the specific place to look. I’m 74 and have mobility and balance problems. Even if I could find or hire someone to look for the filter I still would not be able to access it again to clean it by myself.

Hi, Mack. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience in such detail. We understand the importance of having your LG Washer (WT7005CW) model be easy to maintain, especially when it comes to something as essential as locating and cleaning the lint filter.

Regarding the lint filter on this specific model, it is important to note that the LG WT7005CW is a high-efficiency (HE) top-load washer designed without a traditional, removable lint filter that requires manual cleaning. Instead, these units utilize a self-cleaning pump system. During the drain cycle, lint and debris are automatically flushed out of the tub through the drain hose. Running the Tub Clean cycle regularly helps keep this system working effectively. For more help, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8XiTdH9heQ.

If you’d like us to review your unit more closely or confirm any maintenance steps, feel free to send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so our team can assist you directly. ^Juvy

Waste of Money

LG should be ashamed to call this their product! Will not spin water out of clothes. Everything that comes out is soaking wet. Don't even try pillows or queen quilts... it keeps cycling through. i have to wring them by hand and hang outside because they are too wet for dryer. Going back to Whirlpool after using this piece of junk!
