I love all all of the options and time constraints that are available for washing, rinsing, and spinning. AWESOME!!

I really like the way you can choose how you want to wash each type of articles being washed. You can choose water temp for wash cycle and rinse, also depth of water. Then choose the speed of spin. Now I hate to tell you, but it will not make dinner!

My old washer was slowly dying. Hubby and I looked at several brands & models. We decided on this washer for several reasons. The agitator, the see through lid and it's numerous options to wash clothes the way they are supposed to be washed. The price was justified. I am very happy with my new washer.

Owner's manual is poorly written and leaves out simple things like how to break the normal cycle of wash, rinse spin. No procedure in place to start on rinse only. Wife hates it. She would've preferred a much more basic model she could control.

I recently bought this LG Washing machine after a lot of research. So far, it is everything I hoped it would be. Operation is straight forward and ready to program. The machine locks after I press start but that hasn't been a problem for me as some reviews wrote. I use the deep fill option often since I do large loads of laundry and I like them to be immersed in water. I've also used the normal setting and find it cleans very well. Ater the spin cycle, the clothes are just damp which reduces drying time. I hand dry the machine after using as LG suggests. It's a pain but if it means my washer won't smell, I'll continue to do it.

When I bought this washing machine it was the absolute top-rated washer at Consumer Reports regardless of price (and definitely not nearly the most expensive). The capacity seems good and it was able to handle my largest comforter (for a queen size bed). Things I especially like are the see through glass door which also closes slowly, and the deep wash cycle. Without the glass door I would never know that without using the deep wash, smaller items on top can go half way through the wash cycle and never even get wet. My previous machine had an agitator that was especially aggressive (which I liked). I expected that did a good job of getting my clothes clean, but apparently it may have been a little rough on the clothes as well. I do like that this has at least something of an agitator, even though it doesn’t move clothes from top to bottom like my last machine did. I guess I need to be appreciative of the idea that this machine is more gentle with my clothes, and may help them to last longer. I haven’t noticed a problem with things not coming out clean, but I do use deep fill for everything. My previous machine had mechanical dials which I prefer, but those are hard to come by. I haven’t had any issues with the electronic dials but worry that electronics seem to be more prone to failure down the road. I have had my washer for 2 years now with no issues until recently. I almost always use cold and the issue seems to happen when using a warm wash. This unit has a count down timer and after several minutes of assessing the load eventually comes up with a wash time. When washing with warm my machine can be down to 1 minute left on the spin cycle and then add another rinse cycle or 2. LG claims there is a sensor that adds a rinse cycle if needed, but that is not stated in the manual. Further, it seems that if a sensor determined that an extra rinse was needed then that would have happened prior to having only 1 minute left. I have been advised to do a hard reset and use the tub clean cycle to try to resolve the issue. Hard reset is done and tub cleaning is next. Otherwise no real complaints other than the fact that the factory default water level seems to be too low to effectively clean the small items on top (but that is resolved by using the deep wash feature). Make sure you read the instructions for how to load clothes (because you aren’t supposed to just add them in any order like you used to), and dry out the machine after use. May have gone with 5 stars if not for the recent extra unexpected rinse cycles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer seems to wash clothes well even though it seems to be using less water for most loads. Getting used to "bells and whistles" that we didn't need but we're getting used to new features. Overall very happy with purchase.

I have never purchase an appliance by LG before and i get this washer after a super bad experience with another name brand i bouight year ago. I purchased this one in the beginng of august of this year. This washer is soooo quiet and runs great ! I love the cute song it plays when the washer is done too! I will be buying more LG products.

The WT 7005 has tons of room for even king size comforters and is very quiet. Has tons of options and is very easy to use. Great purchase.
