I love that it has the option to add extra water. It’s easy controls is like “Set it and Forget it”. I like that there is no moldy odor I have experienced with a front loader.

LOL Anyway, it washes well considering the low amount of water it dispenses. Last night i had a very large amount of bulky clothes to wash and after observing the lack of agitation, I decided to add a bucket of water to the load. It seemed to improve the washing action very much. I won't normally have to add water since I usually have much lighter loads. On the whold, I will parrot what others have noted about the very low water levels. I did not receive this product free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion but would like to receive a sweepstakes entry for my review.

bought this model on the basis of reviews & cost constraint. Clothes for 1 yr old & construction worker very clean. As a senior I am still skeptical of the small water amount used in regular cycle. I am not seeing any saving in 3 months in water or electric usage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace my five year old 5.3 capacity, non agitator washer that didn’t do a great job of washing even half- sized loads due to an electronics failure. Decided to replace it with whatever agitator washer I could obtain - QUICKLY! My neighbor has this washer and was happy, so when I could have it by the end of the week, I bought it. Am VERY happy thus far, seems to wash the clothes well, not damaging them, and is quieter than the last one…..❤️ the little tune played at the end of the wash, too! Thank you, LG!

I bought this machine a month ago, choosing it because of a Consumer Report account saying it was one of the best machines to buy. At first, I was frustrated because the thin manual I was given at purchase had insufficient instructions to let me know how to do anything but a normal load. I went online and watched some YouTubes to learn how to work the other features of my machine. In many ways, the buttons on this machine look more like a computer than a washing machine. For example, the instructions said to press "Pause" if a load got off kilter. Nowhere on my machine could I find the word "Pause" and I didn't know which button the manual was referring to. I learned online that the pause button looks like what is on my television remote for pausing a program. I think that if pictures were in the manual this would significantly improve the learning process to make this machine more user-friendly to the consumer, as these washing machines differ from other machines I have owned. So far, I am very pleased with how well it is cleaning my clothes.

I bought this top load LG washing machine in April because my previous one stopped spinning. It has an agitator and my previous one was a turbo drum. I hear a lot of clanging noises and am not quite sure why, as my other one never made them. Also, the fabric softener drawer is almost always full of water at the end of the cycle. Other than this, I do like the washer. It has large capacity and cleans things well.

The owner's manual is useless and damages the quality value normally associated with your company. There is one or two paragraphs the cover the features of the washer which has eight cycles, three modifiers, and four optional features. I have visited your web sites on at least three occasions and recognize there is also a user's guided in digital format which I can download but I cannot open it because of its ZIP file extension rather than the more common PDF extension. Rather than download, I can open the user manual at your web site but cannot print individual pages that discuss the cycle, modifiers and option features but since I don't have a photographic memory, reading a computer screen is not sufficient to build owners confidence and use the full capability of the washer. The washer seems to work fine but you get a "F" for documentation and user value
