I love the way the washer knows the proper settings and water level that is required. I couldn't be happier.

I always use the deep fill cycle otherwise there is not enough water to get the clothes clean. I use the bedding cycle for a king size bedspread and it did a good job.

Simple knob function different modes of laundry setting or modes. There are push buttons for different speeds and how soiled your laundry is. I like the pleasant chime at the end of the load, kindly reminding me that my laundry is done. Pleasantly surprised by this purchase.

There is a little bit of a learning curve but the manuals included help us through the process. An opinion we have is that it will probably help our water bill since it appears to use less water as the size of the load seems to adjust the water used. Also, the spin feature seems to extract more water from clothes prior to drying. While we did have a few disappointments with our vendor, this is not a reflection on LG. Would definitely recommend.

My new LG Direct Drive/Agitator machine is 10 times the machine that I just replaced. This machine is quiet, and very fast. I am over the top happy with it.

I bought this machine a month ago, choosing it because of a Consumer Report account saying it was one of the best machines to buy. At first, I was frustrated because the thin manual I was given at purchase had insufficient instructions to let me know how to do anything but a normal load. I went online and watched some YouTubes to learn how to work the other features of my machine. In many ways, the buttons on this machine look more like a computer than a washing machine. For example, the instructions said to press "Pause" if a load got off kilter. Nowhere on my machine could I find the word "Pause" and I didn't know which button the manual was referring to. I learned online that the pause button looks like what is on my television remote for pausing a program. I think that if pictures were in the manual this would significantly improve the learning process to make this machine more user-friendly to the consumer, as these washing machines differ from other machines I have owned. So far, I am very pleased with how well it is cleaning my clothes.

The automatic sensing of the wash load weight is amazing. The clothes and such come out clean! Who knew less water works! Great for lessening water use and the environment in general.

Read the reviews, watched YouTube videos. I just had a good feeling about the one! It washes my clothes so much better. The clothes actually feel clean! Not one complaint about this washer!

Currently haven't been able to wash clothes for 3 weeks awaiting parts for repair. Doesn't wash clothes well at all, the agitator just sways , the clothes stay in the same spot , nothing washes well, like other washers I have had. 1st time I having LG, and Life is NOT good with it.

The only time it is noisy is during the drainage of the water, and I think the reason for the noise is because it is draining out so fast! The clothes are clean. The spin cycle is fast and the clothes are fairly “dry”. I do miss choosing the best water level, but this machine does have the option for a deep water wash.
