I bought this two months ago and it doesn’t live up to my expectations, when washing towels or sheets the drum wobbles, bangs and the entire machine shakes. I have redistributed the load but it still happens. I bought this model for its direct drive motor but it doesn’t perform any better than the belt drive type it replaced. Contacting LG has been an excersize in frustration so I don’t recommend this model to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased an LG washer. I thought I'd be intimidated by the dials, but it is so easy to select what is needed for your wash load. I love the way the washer knows the proper settings and water level that is required. I couldn't be happier.

The owner's manual is useless and damages the quality value normally associated with your company. There is one or two paragraphs the cover the features of the washer which has eight cycles, three modifiers, and four optional features. I have visited your web sites on at least three occasions and recognize there is also a user's guided in digital format which I can download but I cannot open it because of its ZIP file extension rather than the more common PDF extension. Rather than download, I can open the user manual at your web site but cannot print individual pages that discuss the cycle, modifiers and option features but since I don't have a photographic memory, reading a computer screen is not sufficient to build owners confidence and use the full capability of the washer. The washer seems to work fine but you get a "F" for documentation and user value

After refurbishing my last two washers I decided to buy a new one fresh out of the box. After reading all the reviews I decided to stick with American Made. I have none of the concerns that other reviewers posted. The machine is quiet and does a great job, better than all my previous machines. I find it very intuitive to operate. the only habit I still need to drop is trying to put something in after the lid is in lockdown for the cycle.

Still getting used to not using near as much water for each wash, but loads are clean when done. I love the timer. I can start it and know when I need to come back to unload it. I also like that when it gets unbalanced it will shut down and unlock the lid so you can spread the items around and start it back up unlike the old one trying to walk out into the den. Hope to have this for a long time.

The only time it is noisy is during the drainage of the water, and I think the reason for the noise is because it is draining out so fast! The clothes are clean. The spin cycle is fast and the clothes are fairly “dry”. I do miss choosing the best water level, but this machine does have the option for a deep water wash.

I've had this washer for a little over 3 years, and it has performed so well. My only issue (a me issue) was that I didn't know how to use all the functions for a few years in. I finally know how to soak the clothes without having the water drain too soon. The capacity is great, it's fairly quiet and cleans the clothes well. I like having an agitator, even though many washers don't have them any longer. Overall, great machine, great price, and still looks like brand new.

Had the washer for about a month now, I purchased on line based on prior reviews. Have not had a new washer in 35 years so I was intimated by the appearance all the choices to select. The techs were great and gave me a brief course on operating the washer. After the first few times, I have to admit I love the washer. Does a great job of washing and spinning. My clothes dry faster too Very pleased with my purchase.
