I've had the washer for several months. I am disappointed in its features and performance. First, the drain hose is too short. The User Manual states: "The end of the drain hose should be located a...maximum of 96 inches (244 cm) above the bottom of the washer." The drain hose can reach only 62 in. when installed as illustrated in the manual. BTW - I purchased this item because I though the hose was long enough to reach my drain. :( Second, Even my 37 year old machine could select different temperatures for the wash and rinse cycles. After doing a hot (w/bleach) wash I prefer a cold rinse. Not possible on this LG. Furthermore, it doesn't get out 'personal' stains very well. Choosing "Heavy Soiled" only increases the wash time, not the agitation rate. I've accidentally included a paper towel in a wash and it came out undamaged. The LG doesn 't do a strong enough agitation to get items clean. Third, the unit spends almost 18 minutes in the Spin cycle (spin High or Spin Med, haven't done low). This is overkill. I do like the fact that the washer is very quiet, it weighs the load at startup, and plays a pleasant time when done. Overall, not very good for the price.

Biggest disappointment ever! Only way clothes come out clean is if they go in clean! I’ve always loved lg products until now… this washer sucks! I hate it! But because it is a big appliance, my husband says we’ll just have to use it… ugh!!!! And I hate having no control… I can’t even pause it.without the water draining out, causing me to have to start from the beginning of the wash again…. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

I like my new washer, the clothes are cleaner than my old machine. I'm not sure I like the control panel yet. I like washing in cold water all the time and don't like have to fool with buttons every time. I also don't like I have to watch the water level on small loads because it doesn't fill enough to cover the clothes. I called service and they won't come out to make sure it's running right.

I've had this washer for a while and never thought it was getting my cloths clean enough. So I watched a whole cycle and realized that the agitator was turning approximately 2 turns clockwise and 2 turns counterclockwise. This action will not roll the cloths in the washer!! This action needs to go 2 turns clockwise and 1 turn counterclockwise!! I wonder where LG comes up with engineers. Won't buy another LG product.

I bought this machine on 4-22-2022. After reading reviews, I thought it was a good choice. What a total waste of my money. This machine barely moves the clothes around. The clothes do not get fully immersed in the water. The water level is so low that you have to use deep wash setting every time if you want the water to cover your clothes. Even when you select the small load size or large size load, it barely puts any water in machine to cover the clothes. Machine starts wash cycle and clothes on top are still dry from when put in. Machine keeps spinning to detect load balance and adds water into the machine which extends wash time. It takes minimum, 90 or more minutes to wash one load. This machine has very poor agitation. Clothes do not get pulled under and around. Clothes stay in same position throughout wash cycle. Anyone with extremely dirty or greasy laundry will be disappointed because of the poor agitation. Sometimes I have a small load but I still have to select the deep wash setting to ensure water fills up in machine to cover the clothes. It's an over abundance of water for a small amount of clothes. I wanted to like this machine but unfortunately it is a major failure and falls short in performance especially with water level. I cannot recommend this machine.

We have had this machine for about 6 months. I have a load in now that said 70 minutes and is still going 2 hours later. It cannot handle one twin sized bed comforter without constantly draining and refilling the water. It struggles with 2 towels in a load with clothes. Would not recommend for a family of 4 or larger.

WORST washing machine I’ve ever owned.  I’ve worked with it for 2 months with no improvement.  Purchased because I’ve had  2 LG washers in the past that I loved.  Clothes come out with soap spots and dirty spots on them.  Cut my  e detergent in half of  what is recommended. Per LG help support.  Didn’t help. Tried adding vinegar,  helped some but enough to keep from having to wash some loads a second time.  I am so frustrated!

I love LG products. I loved my LG front load washer until the day it died. Because my husband grumped about leaving the door open to dry out the tub, I replaced it with the top loader. HUGE mistake. Although it is advertised as being able to wash the entire bedding set (sheets, blanket, comforter) in one go, it can't. Does it all fit? Yes, the capacity is huge, but any difference in weight between the items and the machine goes out of balance and either stops halfway through the rinse cycle or, worse, refills the tub and tries to balance through another rinse cycle OVER AND OVER AGAIN. One night I put a load in and, when I got up in the morning, it was refilling the tub yet again. Who knows how many times it had done it through out the night. My water bill was $20 higher than normal that month. Another problem is that the items come out of the washer MUCH damper than they did from my front loader and require about 1.5 times longer in the dryer than before. There is a "Spin Only" cycle clearly marked on the control panel but, upon reading the manual, I found out it only works for the front loader, where it is clearly not needed. So even though this machine is only about 6 months old I'm going to have to replace it. And I feel guilty about giving it to anyone, even for free, because it's such a poor machine!

The normal cycle on my LGwt7005cw just enough water to cover the bottom of washer.Deep wash keeps adding water when it doesn't need any. No in between all these cycles are useless. Can't add water to normal cycle it goes to deep wash witch is to much water . What is the reason not being able to have lid open during cycle till you close lid.
