[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a small load the clothes just sit in bottom of tub. The agitator does not slosh clothes around. Had to Max fill to get movement. This machine should have a manual select for different water levels. I do not like the feature that tub spins before adding water. The clothes are spread to outer side tub causing the clothes to gradually get to agitator. the agitator should have bigger vanes for greater movement of clothes.

I purchased this washer 1 year after doing some research to find a that actually has and uses agitation to wash clothes. Water using appliances today are set to conserve water, which means you don't get enough water to get anything clean. This LG washer gives me some control of water level plus agitation which equals clean clothes wash. The only negative I've encountered is that the bedding (bulky) wash cycle doesn't work that well for large comforters. I 100% recommend this washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer after another well known brand only lasted 3 1/2 months. I am a single 70 year old so it wasn’t from overuse. This machine works like a dream! Extra large capacity, you can wash almost everything in 1 load! Mine has an agitator but is available without one if that is your preference. Has musical tones to let you know when the cycle is done. I have an older home and had to have my pipes roto rootered because when it drains, it comes out fast and forceful! But that is only my plumbing, not an issue with the machine. It has several options to choose from, different cycles, delicate, light load, quick wash,bedding, extra fill and normal. The water level is determined by the machine. It weighs or senses how much the load contains and adjusts accordingly. Then adjusts the time to completion numbers. Internal dispensers for detergent and softener. Bleach dispenser in the front left corner of housing when lid is open. Mine has a glass lid so you can peek in a see it filling and washing. Hot, warm, cold water temps. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this machine to anyone!

I bought this machine a few weeks ago. It cleans the laundry better than the machine I had before and I credit the agitator and it moves the clothes better into the water. So far I haven't used the deep fill option because I can see that it all gets covered in water. My old machine without the agitator I would have clorhing that was on top not even wet when cycle was done. It operates quietly and I like the timer that shows how long the cycle will take and how much time is left.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two things changed from my previous machine when I bought this new one: 1. it has an agitator instead of being an impeller, and 2. it is direct drive (hopefully reducing off-balance issues). I have been satisfied with its performance on both counts. Another good aspect was that the agitator "blades" were more gently curved (i.e. less abrasive to clothes) than other similar agitator washing machines. Overall, the price and the product were exactly what I was looking for.

Shopping for new appliances is really intimidating so we reviewed the good and bad and decided on the LG because of the track record as the top of the appliance makers. It was the right move. We couldn't be happier. They are easy to operate and clean and dry ANYTHING!! We highly recommend these.

I am amazed with the self balance feature. I also love the timer which let's you see how much time is left in your cycle. The spin cycles really extract the water. I am telling you, this washer has cut my laundry time in half. I bought the washer with the see through lid. It is awesome. I enjoy watching it self balance. If you are on the fence about a washer get this one. I read the reviews, LG was the winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago and it has many settings, do pay attention to how to use the settings I used bedding option for my bed sheets which was actually way too harsh for my delicate sheets so do pay attention to what each setting does but other than that does do a good job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew a washing machine could be so quiet! Now I can do laundry at odd times without worrying about the noise keeping family awake. And the size of the tub holds more than I even thought it would when I was buying it which means doing less loads and the best thing is how well it cleans everything. The test was a bunch of garage towels and rags that were pretty filthy and when they came out there were no dirty stains left, even on the rags used to polish furniture. It is energy efficient and water saving and I am looking forward to many years of service with it!
