[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new washers with impeller are about worthless, so I wanted a washer with an agitator like the good old days before this low water cleaning machines. It works well, even though it is a low water machine. I do use the deep water cycle on large loads to get everything clean and rinsed properly.

I thought I was buying a standard washing machine, not realizing how much the technology has changed. Just because it has an agitator doesn't mean it fills up with water and swishes your clothes around. No matter what cycle I select, I cannot get it to fill with water. One load of about 4 towels washed in about 4 inches of water...A "deep fill" is only half full...The lid locks after a few seconds...The owners manual doesn't tell anything about the different cycles...Not a fan of all these new gadgets...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer about 3 weeks ago. Since being installed, I have done several loads of different types. This has given me an opportunity to see how the washer does with towels, permanent press, delicates, etc. All cycles performed well and clothes came out clean.

I do like the option to fill the washer with water for loads. I’ve watched it wash without putting it on fill and it just doesn’t seem like it uses enough water. I wish there was an actual selector where you could choose, small, medium or large amounts of water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have done multiple washes in this machine just to be certain that it can handle all types of loads and that it has consistent premium performance. I started with a load of bedding, and it out-performed any machine I've ever used to clean linen and blankets. The sheets, blankets, and comforter not only fit entirely into the machine, but they came out thoroughly cleaned and freshly scented from my detergent. My old machine barely shook it up enough to get any garments or linen fully saturated with the detergent, so this is very surprising given the size and density of my linen load. Next I tested out the heavy duty setting on my husband's heavily soiled, rugged work clothing, and once again it totally flabbergasted me with its performance. The four way agitator and extreme spin speed capability, broke down the dirt and grime quickly and efficiently, to the point that I no longer have to worry when I miss scrubbing some stains that I'd normally worry about setting in on my old machine. Of course I wouldn't want to miss scrubbing a stain, but when his construction clothing came out and basically looked like he had not even gone to work in them, that's when I saw the true power of this washer. And just as it has the capacity to be tough on grit, it can be just as gentle on the delicate and fragile materials. I put in some delicate tops and they came out just as I originally put them in, except they were perfectly clean. I really am impressed!!

Operating instructions that came with the washer were vague but you can download them or call customer service and they will help you with any questions. In an effort to conserve water the “Normal” wash cycle only gives about 2” of water which honestly isn’t enough for any load large or small so they really should rethink that, but there are settings that will allow you additional water levels, so that’s great. I really like how quiet it is and if you follow the sensible loading suggestions I have had no issues whatsoever. All in all after much research, I believe I made a wise choice. I look forward to many years of operation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG dryer an matching washer I looked at a lot of different brands but i always came back to LG as i have bought other LG products an was very happy so when i went to look LG kept me coming back to look again, read everything an felt LG was my choice form the looks to the quality i would recomend L G it washes cloths very good it lets you choose the right size an i was so amazed at watching it wash it does so much it evens the load it runs very quiet the first week i washed everyday an their is only two in house hold i looked for something to wash to see it do its job my husband was even impressed with the washer so if you want a good quality washer go with LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received this washer about 2 weeks ago. I really am very happy so far. This has replaced a 16 year old washer so I hope it will last as long. Its not hard to operate and does a good job of cleaning the clothes. Of course it's an HE washer which is new to us but so far it has worked out great. We do use the deep fill option on occasion but getting use to using just what the washer senses as far as the amount of water.

This has been the worse dryer I have bought. It does not clean very well. The clothes don't smell great after going through the wash (I am using the same detergent I used with my old one). Also the water will not go hot. There is a setting for hot water on the washer but it only comes out warm. The company states that this is because it is "energy efficient". It would be nice to be able to have hot water during the load. So if you are looking for a washing machine that cleans your clothes. Choose another one.

Even with the agitator, the capacity is HUGE and yet it's footprint is no larger than my old washer from a brand I won't buy from again. The reliability reports for LG are what sold me on the washer.
