I bought this washer in April of 2022 and have been very happy with it, UNTIL it needed service. I went through all the online reporting and was told that I was added to the "repair queue". Not having heard from them in over 2 weeks, I downloaded the LG Thinq app, but it wouldn't connect with my machine. I went through the troubleshooting instructions in the manual, unplugged, replaced, etc. Still no luck. It's been very frustrating, and would appreciate speaking to a "REAL PERSON ".

It does things and makes adjustments on it's own, something we used to have to do manually ( adjust loads, set water levels, set run time and temperature).The only reason I didn't rate it 5 star is because we've only had it a month, but I'm very confident we will have no problems.

I bought the washer with an agitator, which is my preference. The clothes are so clean. The settings and features are comparable for my families need. I will only purchase LG products moving forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago and it has many settings, do pay attention to how to use the settings I used bedding option for my bed sheets which was actually way too harsh for my delicate sheets so do pay attention to what each setting does but other than that does do a good job

Read the reviews, watched YouTube videos. I just had a good feeling about the one! It washes my clothes so much better. The clothes actually feel clean! Not one complaint about this washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a thorough researcher and opted for this LG as the brand continually is rated high and wanted a top load (call me old school). Worked fine and seemed to do the job. Ask me now, 5 months later and I couldn’t recommend it less. Drain pump seemed to go out and also water fill sensor as well since while diagnosing the draining problem, filled it with some leftover water and it just wouldn’t stop. I wanted to be “nice” and give 2 stars but that said fair but big issue rising 5 months in isn’t good. Also dealing with the warranty and waiting another already 10 days for a replacement since that’s really there only option since there are no authorized repair services open or around which we waited over a week for that result. All told, about 2 weeks in and still waiting. Not good. And not fun having to drive to wash clothes…. :/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer after our repairman said we needed a new washer and we should get an agitator. We selected this because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. After three weeks our experience is: 1: It is very sensitive to an unbalanced load; normally terminating the spin cycle. Luckily, there is the ability to start a new spin cycle. 2: Clothes are still wringing wet after completion of the spin cycle; it is not as thorough as we’ve seen previously. 3: The washer takes longer than our previous experience to complete a cycle; last week one cycle took 90 minutes and the clothes were still wringing wet. 4: The timer is miss-leading. Some times it will jump several minutes at a time up or down. Sometimes it will indicate the same time remaining without changing for several minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less than two months of light service has resulted in constant “error codes” and ensuing trouble shooting directions! We have water from our well that is pre-treated feeding into washer. Finally got serviceman who disconnected water lines (which I also had done to check water pressure) and he rinsed out line connections. Result • no more error code! Never had such a brouhaha or inconvenience/delay with old Maytag… no error codes etc! Washer works fine now…but what next?

This is a good washer, does a good job and has a strong spin cycle which is important to me, but the options for the type of wash I would like are very limited. There is no “manual” wash that I can set exactly what I want. And I don’t have any control over the amount of water used. It’s supposed to determine how much by weight, but I find that it really doesn’t get it right very often.

This is the only new washing machine I have ever bought. I am amazed at how clean my clothes are getting much cleaner. Even my older clothes that were washed in my old washer are getting cleaner. It is also extremely quiet. I would recommend this washer to anyone, it was a great investment.
