Cleans clothes amazingly, doesn't leave a residue or make clothes feel heavy like there's detergent left behind. And it's totally not lying when it says no perfumes. It's weird to smell absolutely nothing when using washing detergents. I'm more of a smell good person so that's why I say that, as long as it doesn't smell like cleaning stuff or soapy. If you aren't into or can't tolerate perfumes.. this is perfect. I also love the fact that it's clear because I don't care what anyone says, the color stuff totally will stain clothes, so this is awesome. Thanks Influenster, I am really digging the new format for trying products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s no fragrance to this product and I was worried at first since most of my laundry are sweaty workout clothes. It cleans well but I kind of miss having a fresh clean scent. A little goes a long way.

I have always loved the free and gentle detergents; living with someone who has skin problems this is the best to use. It’s limited ingredients don’t upset people with sensitive skin or eczema or most other skin issues that have flare ups from heavy perfumes detergents.

I am always excited when I can find detergent and other cleaning products that don’t come in a plastic container. I purchased the box and was disappointed to find a plastic cup inside. Isn’t there a better alternative? It’s time companies like Tide did their part in reducing single use plastic. Sell it with no cup at all, if you can’t find a suitable replacement.

This detergent makes me itch alot. I get red rashes or red spots on my body. Although it claims to be free and gentle and designed for sensitive skin....it is not. Alteast not for me. Bring back the tide formula from 20 - 25 years ago, and I will use that. I see the review of Brandspark 2024 that lists this detergent as #1 for sensitive skin, followed by All and Arm

I thought that it was just not getting my clothes clean for some reason, but after reading other reviews here, it appears that the problem is that the product just smells. My exercise clothes smell like they have not been washed at all. Wish I could return the three large bottles of this I bought on sale.

The ingredients on the bottle do not match the ingredients online at the SmartLabel webpage. Notably, the bottle does Not contain Borax (Sodium Borate) and the bottle does contain the addition of sodium lauryl sulfate. I feel as though these are important ingredients that should be correctly listed. There are a few other ingredients that do not match up as well. Overall I'm disappointed with the cleaning power of this detergent. My kids are hard on their clothes. Food and dirt stains abound. This detergent very rarely gets all of the food stains out of my kids clothes.

I bought a new bottle of Tide Free and Clear last week. When I opened the bottle and poured it into the measuring cap it had a yellowish color to it. Have you recently changed the formula? It is still odorless but the yellow color makes me think the product isn't safe to use.

This product is what I have been waiting for! I loved Tide for 30 years and now that it has no perfumes or fragrance it is even better as my allergies have increased as I have aged. Hence the change in laundry detergents and lo and behold Tide has progressed as well to a changing consumer!!! They have kept up with the times and am so very thankful of this because I wouldn't want to change ever!!!

I opened a new container of the Tide Free and Gentle but the detergent was a brown color and also had a weird chemical smell to it. I shook the bottle to see if the color would change but it did not and I am afraid to wash my clothes with it. I have NEVER had this to happen in all the years I have been washing clothes. Would not recommend this product.
