It must upsetting that the liquid did not perform as you expected it.<br /><br />This is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through as ALL our laundry detergents are designed for effective cleaning by loosening and suspending dirt, but some factors affect results. <br /><br />For outdoor or clay-based stains, powders work best; for greasy or oily stains, liquids or single-dose units are ideal.<br /><br />To improve cleaning, follow fabric care instructions, use the hottest safe water, sort clothes properly, pre-treat stains, avoid overloading the washer, and use the correct detergent amount based on load size, soil level, and water hardness. <br /><br />Gentle cycles should only be used if recommended, and for dried-in or tough stains are harder to remove because they are dehydrated, less soluble, and sometimes ironed-in or exposed to air.<br /><br />Stains like blood or grease and those on cotton can be especially stubborn.<br /><br />Also, cleaning is more difficult with heavily soiled loads, so use longer cycles and the highest fabric-safe temperature.
