The liquid is clear so no extra color for the sake of color and the lack of fragrance doesnt affect the clothes and bedding still smelling clean.

Other brands have intense fragrances and harsh chemicals that irritate my skin and are overpowering. With Tide Free and Clear, I know my clothes will be cleaned just as well as other detergents without any of the dyes and chemicals. For me, it’s a no brainer as I have sensitive skin and two doggies with allergies, and this detergent keeps everyone in my house happy. So glad this is an option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Free & Gentle Detergent is a game changer. There are no artificial colors or fragrances added to the laundry detergent. It does the one thing laundry detergent is supposed to do and that’s to clean fabrics. Nothing else required. It won’t irritate allergies and didn’t make me sneeze and I sneeze a lot! Straight soap means it cleans without leaving irritants behind. My clothes, sheets and towels didn’t make me itch. Take care when pouring because sometimes the clear liquid can be hard to see and measure in poor light. The jug is easy to hold and pour and residue in the measuring cap flows back into the jug. A little goes a long way for HE washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received this product to test for two weeks. When I got it, I waited to try it until I do my laundry on the weekends. As soon as I opened it up, the smell hit me. The smell wasn’t unpleasant but it wasn’t pleasant either. It reminded me of alcohol. The soap works about just the same as any old regular free and gentle laundry detergent. In my opinion, I would stick getting another brand because they work the same, except other brands don’t smell like this. Looking at the ingredients, they use alcohol as a solvent, which means it’s the thing that the other things are dissolved it. It really does make it smell like alcohol. Stick to another brand that does the same thing without the smell.
