[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a load of whites with the tide free and gentle. I must say the whites are clean. The clothes came out soft and no stains left behind. The detergent is not hard on clothes and doesn’t leave a residue on clothes like some others do. It does the job of cleaning. I will be washing all my blankets and sheets with this tide. This is a great product for someone who has skin reactions to scented detergents. I will recommend this product to others.

We are highly allergic to dyes and fragrances in most laundry detergents. I've been disappointed in the other "free" laundry products I've tried because they don't get my clothes clean. Tide Free is the only dye and perfume free laundry detergent that I have found that is excellent at getting my clothes clean.

I dont miss the perfumes and dyes, and I think it cleans just as well, if not better than the ones marketed for deep cleaning.

I have been using Tide dye free for over 20 years at least! Since October I have opened at least 3 big jugs of Tide that appeared cloudy and yellower instead of clear. I also have experienced clear bottles that have chunks of what appear to be crystals inside the bottle that rattle when pouring out. It is really a shame that a product I have trusted for so many years is no longer reliable. I see from other comments that I am not the only one with this experience and it appears all have gotten the same response - that you have great quality control. Apparently something is not working correctly in your production system. I hope you will have a better answer (and hope it is not an AI response!) - otherwise I will have to switch detergents.

The detergent smells super chemically, and was happy the smell seems to dissipate after I dried the laundry.

I have been using this the past few weeks and I can confirm that my clothes smell like nothing at all. For someone like my husband, who has a sensitive nose and can smell everything 10x, this was perfect for him. There was no need to air out the clothes to get of any cleaning product smell. I imagine this would be perfect for those who cannot wear scents due to allergies or eczema.

New formula has flared my contact dermatitis. Have been using Tide Free and Gentle without issues for many years. Took two weeks while scratching to figure out that a new bottle had been opened and the ingredients were changed. I am head-to-toe covered in cherry-red itchy skin and hives. Not happy.
