I switched to Free and Gentle when I couldn’t find Ultra Stain Release at my local store. Loved the consistency of the first bottle and liked that there was no scent. The next bottle had a rancid smell. It was disgusting. The third bottle was normal. The latest bottle smells like rancid peanut butter. It is a different terrible smell from the other bottle. This is ridiculous. I’m going to pour the rest of this bottle down the drain as I’ve already gone to the store and purchased another brand. I’m done with Tide.

This free and gentle tide laundry soap works wonders and keeps my mind at ease with my children’s sensitive skin. with some other laundry detergent they leave a rash on my kids, so this is great to use for them. It cleans and smells great while gentle enough for sensitive skin.

I’ve used this for years before, but recently after use I broke out in a monstrous rash and hives that surpassed home medication and had to go to the hospital for treatment. Maybe if you want to surprise us by reformulating and adding benzisothiazolinone which is banned in Europe maybe add a disclaimer scum bags!

Its not expensive and it can last for a few loads of clothes. Recommend for person with sensitive skins.

We bought a new bottle of what we have used for years and my daughter has had horrible hives for weeks until we rewashed her clothes and sheets in another detergent. We always liked Tide and couldn’t use the scented because of allergies, but we’re always happy with the Free and Clear. I’m sad that I may have to find a new detergent.

I have serious skin sensitivity with laundry detergent. I thought buying tide free and gentle meant that I was buying laundry detergent safe for my skin but I had to wash a pair of leggings by hand in the skin and all I had for detergent were free and gentle pods. As soon as the pod was soaked in water in the sink it turned blue just like the regular detergent. I also thought that my skin sensitivity flaring up bad again was cause by the dorm environment and communal laundry rooms but all along it had been the detergent I was using.

I have the sensitive skin so I think it is a good option for me! I have been used Tide for so many years . Especially love the free and gentle version.

I finally decided to switch detergents because although Tide eliminate stains, odors were not, so I had to always add a sanitizer to cover that. Also, we decided to eliminate plastics as much as we can, so we switched to True Earth eco strips which dissolves better than a pod, eliminated odors and are so easy to handle (so small of a package). We eliminated 3 plastic refills monthly altogether.

With other detergents, particularly with the dyed and scented ones, I broke out like crazy! I’m talking about rashes and hives all over my body. With this detergent, it effectively cleans clothes and also whites without the use of bleach, and doesn’t bother my skin. Although my clothes aren’t fragrant coming out the dryers with this detergent, they’re still fresh and clean-smelling.
