Hosta Zounds/Ylw River/Mama Mia

Hosta are grown mainly for their beautiful foliage that ranges in color from stunning blue-greens to chartreuse and from huge solid leaves to delicate variegated varieties. An absolute must for the shade garden, Hosta also produce flowers on tall stalks that are excellent in cut flower arrangements. Mama Mia has dark-green, wavy leaves with wide margins of gold that fade into pale creams as the season progresses. During early summer, 15-18" pale lavender flower scapes are displayed. Zounds is a clump forming plant that has brillant colored, round leaves. The bright green leaves are heavily textured with beautiful touches of gold. Pale lavender flower spikes arrive mid summer. Yellow River has large, thick, wedge shaped, green leaves with soft yellow margins. Yellow River has pale lavender flowers that complements its unique foliage.
