How Should You Use the Stapler?
The BOSTITCH Contemporary Full Strip Stapler is relatively easy to use. First, you need to open the stapler by gripping the base and pulling until it lifts open. Locate the staple tray and pull it out until it is fully extended. Next, load the easy shot stapler with compatible staples and close it by pushing down until it clicks in place. Next, gather up to 20 sheets of paper that you want to staple together. Put the upper left edge of the stack of paper by the mouth of the stapler, and press down firmly. Make sure that the staple has firmly bound the papers in place.
How to Use for Tacking
Tacking is the process of stapling a piece of paper to a wall or similar surface. If you want to use the easy shot stapler for tacking, start by opening the stapler. Hold the base of the stapler and pull back the top. The stapler should open. Allow the base to hang as you use the tray for tacking. Hold the paper up that you are trying to staple to the wall, and firmly push the stapler down on the part of the paper that you want to tack.
How To Unjam the Stapler
Sometimes the BOSTITCH Contemporary Full Strip Stapler will jam if a staple bends the wrong way or you try to staple too many papers at once. If jamming occurs, open the Stanley BOSTITCH stapler up, and pull out the jammed staple with tweezers or pliers. This should solve the problem.
