I love the ice blending function, but I find I have to blend the ice and then add the rest of my ingredients or else it has trouble fully blending everything. I also like that it's dishwasher safe.

It resulted in several huge messes in my kitchen. Thank you for making a simple to use and clean blender.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first KitchenAid blender and I really like the design with the blades built into the jar. There are fewer parts to assemble, and I never have to touch the blade to clean it or reassemble it. I clean the blade by running the blender with warm water and a little dishwashing liquid. I use this blender almost every day to make smoothies with frozen fruit. I hope it lasts many years. More expensive than Oster brand, but better design and (I hope) built to last.

It was such a nice blender that I bought one just like hers! Now we have our own blender and our own house. Both blenders gets lots of use.

Fits plenty of ingredients inside and mixes them without a problem. Only thing I would say that's a negative is it's super loud when grinding up ice.
