[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender about a month ago and I absolutely love it. This blender gets used at least 4-5 times a week. I use it to make different types of smoothies for myself and my kids, salsas, sauces, and soups. It even came with a recipe booklet that had other great ideas and uses that I wouldn't have thought of. I wanted something that had a good blade to crush down ice and purée for a smooth texture and this machine does just that! I got it in the empire red to match my other kitchenaid appliances. Great buy, worth every penny!

I especially like that the blades are attached to the pitcher. I had problems with another brand blender where the blade attachment cracked and I could not and was afraid to use afterwards.
