[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this just before New Years. It seem to not be working right but I got through my project and moved on. Tried it again tonight and had the same issue - it just isn't working right. It blends for a couple seconds then stops no matter how much or little I have in it. I looked up the rules for returns. I don't have my receipt but did register it so hopefully they will fix this. I usually love my kitchen aid products!

I make soup i make marinade my daughters make smoothies you name it you can probably do it with this blender.by the way i'm not writing this review for the food processor i already have it,and HIGHLY recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is awesome. Replaced a much older blender so am enjoying the new features -- dishwasher safe jar that is one piece with blades. It starts with a little less speed so that it doesn' splatter! Very strong motor that doesn't stall no matter what I put in it. I've started making smoothies that are wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Struggles sometimes with smoothies, you have to prepare them a little more watery than preferred. Also, the clutch below the blender jar melted pretty quickly, enough so the blades stopped turning. It works well enough for normal use, though. With that said, because I registered my product, customer service was great. They were immediately willing to replace either the jar or the entire product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a wedding shower gift and it is awesome. Makes smoothies so easily and fast and it isn't as loud as other blenders. The base is very heavy. The blending cup is plastic, not glass. But it doesn't come apart for cleaning. But blending soapy water is a very easy way to clean. It chops ice and frozen fruit very easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older version of this blender and was very happy with its power and function, but unfortunately it got bumped while running and the container moved enough that the contact points got "shaved" and the blade would no longer move. Since I loved it, I replaced it with this model, specifically because now you turn the container to lock it into place while it's running. Fabulous upgrade and love this blender - has all the power and never leaks!!

This updated model works better than the old faithful machine and liquefies fruit and other ingredients really well; very nice smoothie machine at a great price!
