It's easy to use and easy to clean. It had a lot of power and gives recommendations on what settings to blend various ingredients. It also came with free ebook for recipes for the blender.

The lid, as but one example, does NOT stay on during the blending process, and the controls are not purpose labeled (as was the case in the earlier unit). My wife's summary is that this unit just appears 'cheap.' This is probably NOT what you wanted to hear but I am thinking of calling you and asking if we could swap this unit for the more expensive one that offered a 5 year, as opposed to a one year, warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older version of this blender and was very happy with its power and function, but unfortunately it got bumped while running and the container moved enough that the contact points got "shaved" and the blade would no longer move. Since I loved it, I replaced it with this model, specifically because now you turn the container to lock it into place while it's running. Fabulous upgrade and love this blender - has all the power and never leaks!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a Fathers' Day gift from my wife. So far it's worked great for smoothies, handling ice without issue. The material of the pitcher is very similar to other high-end blenders and is easy to clean. Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous model and it made a weird smell. So the great customer service at Kitchen Aid sent me there newer model for free. And it is an amazing machine. I have made two different smoothies. Some with celery, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, all kinds of fruit, and they all came out great. No big chunks at all or anything. It did an amazing job. Who needs a vitamix. This is cheaper and seems to do just as good!

Husband wanted a Ninja blender but I couldn't steer away from the trusted Kitchenaid brand that my mom and grandmother have both used for years - I have been delighted with my decision.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 2 other blenders, one of which I wore out and the other, the less said about it, the better. I love my new Kitchen Aid blender. I drink a protein shake every morning for breakfast and put frozen fruit in it. The blender is strong enough to blend up the fruit with no problem and my shake is ready quickly. Clean-up is great, just running hot water over it will clean up the blender from the shake. For those who have never had protein shakes, the protein tends to stick to the blender so having easy clean-up is awesome. I do love my new Kitchen Aid Blender.
