[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these before. This was a replacement for one that I burned out making hummous. You need a food processor for that, which I bought. Otherwise, this is my favorite blender and all family members have one.

It handles frozen veggies, bananas, and whatever else I might toss in there. It easily makes those items into a smooth drink with no "clumps". Very happy with it and it was well priced as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I purchased this and that the blender part actually locks onto the base...The reason for purchasing it was because my other blender was glass and just "sat" into the base. Well the glass part fell out of it's base when I took it out of the closet and that was the end...I can also fit more into my new blender so all in all it was a good choice. I love kitchenAid!!

These blenders are somewhat pricey for my budget but the first one was a gift and I just had no idea that the price reflected the quality. I purchased an inexpensive blender when the first one died. Wow! It was so bad that I was immediately sorry. The advertising was inaccurate at best and it could not even break up ice. So, I learned my lesson and went back to the KitchenAid Classic Blender. I LOVE this machine and it will no doubt outlive me.

It starts with a little less speed so that it doesn' splatter! Very strong motor that doesn't stall no matter what I put in it. I've started making smoothies that are wonderful.

I especially like that the blades are attached to the pitcher. I had problems with another brand blender where the blade attachment cracked and I could not and was afraid to use afterwards. Had to throw it away. Ialso went by the reviews for this product.

I chose this one because of it's large pitcher and power. I make smoothies for the girls and there's lots to go around. Chopping ice? No problem. And easy to clean, I would buy again.

I thought I would miss the glass pitcher which my old one had - (this one is plastic) but it is much lighter overall so that's a plus when I lift it in and out of my kitchen cabinet. I am happy with it overall.
