[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an earlier model of this blender with a glass carafe. I thought the plastic one would be marred with the ice crush option but I was VERY happy with the speed, size and the unbreakable, unmarred surface of the carafe!

It is quiet, does what it is supposed to do with ease, and the best part is it's a Kitchen Aid appliance. Made in the USA with love and quality.

I make them every morning and they're perfectly smooth--not chunky like with some other blenders. This is a great blender for any kind of smoothie or pureed soup. I highly recommend this product!!

I especially like that the blades are attached to the pitcher. I had problems with another brand blender where the blade attachment cracked and I could not and was afraid to use afterwards. Had to throw it away. Ialso went by the reviews for this product.

First, my very expensive cuisinart's blade assembly broke and could not be replaced.then the Black and Decker I bought stopped working. I decided to get the Kitchenaid Classic for two reasons: 1] happy with every other Kitchenaid product I own and 2] made in USA. So far I am very pleased.it is heavy, easy to use and easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a wedding shower gift and it is awesome. Makes smoothies so easily and fast and it isn't as loud as other blenders. The base is very heavy. The blending cup is plastic, not glass. But it doesn't come apart for cleaning. But blending soapy water is a very easy way to clean. It chops ice and frozen fruit very easily.

I have been an advocate of kitchenaid for many years, as soon as I learned how to use my mother's Kitchenaid Stand mixer. This blender does everything and more that I want it to., and I will probably never purchase anything else. Even my refrigerator and dishwasher are Kitchenaid!
