[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender to replace an old Kitchen Aid for which I could no longer get parts. I was a little leery of the design, but WOW was I wrong. It is so easy to clean and ice cubes don't seem to scratch the plastic pitcher (which was my main concern). The design is beautiful and it has great power for anything I want to blend. I would highly recommend this blender - You won't be sorry :)

I thought I'm going to buy one with more power. This one performs well. I like the bigger mouth on the top and have no problem adding an avocado or other vegetables to my morning smoothie.

Love this blender functionality, speed. Will buy another one. Love that the pitcher is all one unit. However, we have owned it three years and the plastic piece under the pitcher broke. You can't buy a new piece. You have to buy a whole new pitcher. Should hold up better than that. We don't use it every day so not significant wear and tear.

This one is even better than the earlier ones with the new ice feature. I looked into other blenders, but decided to go with the Kitchen Aid as I have a mixer and a food processor. I am glad I did!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blenders get a huge workout at my house. I use them constantly. Not only do I make lots of protein shakes for a quick and healthy meal option, I make lots of fruit shakes for friends. Those fruit shakes contain nothing but juice and frozen fruits, and the blender has to work to power through those frozen strawberries, peaches, and bananas. I purchased a Ninja 2 years ago. I liked it, and it worked pretty well for quite a while. However, I began to notice that it was starting to really struggle to chop through ice and frozen fruits. Also, the upper blade had gotten stuck and I could not separate it for better cleaning. Before it bit the dust completely, I began looking at buying a new blender. I decided to go with KitchenAid instead because of their reputation for quality. I was hoping to get a blender that would last longer and do the job better and faster. I'm glad I purchased when I did because days later, the upper blade on my Ninja completely wore through the plastic and now spins freely instead of chopping into the contents of the blender. I have used my KitchenAid countless times since I bought it, and I am very pleased. I can't say what its longevity will be, but its performance is excellent. I hope I'm done with blender shopping for a very long time to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Read the reviews. Many are complaining about blades breaking off. Wrote one about a week ago but they have already removed it from the site. After just one use, the blades broke off when chopping ice. KitchenAid said there was nothing that could be done because our unit was an older unit. Given the price of the blender, I would expect it to last more than one use and thought at least, that KitchenAid would stand behind it.

I immediately purchased this model, similar to the one I have at home, and couldn't be more pleased. Always been a KitchenAid fan from large to small appliances. The brand doesn't ever disappoint. The smoothies are fabulous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, after my ancient Oster blender glass jar broke. I make my veggie/fruit smoothies in it primarily. It is so fast, blends so well, who needs a vitamin, this does the job perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife about a year and a half ago. it still is working strongly, but for the last few months has been flinging some kind of crud from the base spinner into the base of the blender container. It leaves it in a perfectly horizontal line, and after every use. I have concern that the blender is dying, and that does not make me happy with the amount of money I have spent. PLease contact me Kitchenaid...my wife loves your products, but I will not keep paying the money for it.
