[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It sounds like I had the same problem with my Kitchenaid blender that reviewer "sew bike" from Washington state had. The plastic piece in the base of the blender that grabs the spinning piece melted or crumbled apart and therefore the blender can no longer spin, rendering it useless. Is there some way to fix it? I really don't want to buy a whole new blender, especially since I have the nice glass pitcher with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this blender 5 times since buying it, while it works great at blending and crushing ice I've only given it a 3 star rating because it looks like the screw that holds the blades is already getting rusted, will need to keep an eye on it.

The combination of chemotherapy and radiation has taken its toll on her body. So I purchased this blender which I love. It's easy to use, especially easy to wash and made well... like the look of it, sleek, no pop up buttons with nooks and crannies to get at in order to wash. I would love to get more KitchenAid products!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several Kitchen Aid blenders. One died after many years; I broke the last one dropping it! This one is even better than the earlier ones with the new ice feature. I looked into other blenders, but decided to go with the Kitchen Aid as I have a mixer and a food processor. I am glad I did!

We got this as a wedding gift less than 3 years ago because of all the great reviews. We were very happy with it the first several times we used it. We are not a smoothie family, so we have probably only used it about 10 times since we got it. Definitely less than 20. It already has a flashing panel of lights and will no longer work. Extremely disappointed in the decrease in quality of the Kitchenaid products over the past couple of decades. I might as well stick to cheap lesser brands if it's only going to last for a couple of years anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, after my ancient Oster blender glass jar broke. I make my veggie/fruit smoothies in it primarily. It is so fast, blends so well, who needs a vitamin, this does the job perfectly.

I purchased this blender to make my morning smoothies. Absolutely horrible! Does not crush ice even though it has a crush ice button. When you load it to half full, it stops over and over and over again. Really bad. I wish I could return it but have now used.

In the Summer I use this blender almost every day to make smoothies with frozen fruit. It's definitely a keeper.
