[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this blender is good! it often gets clogged up and i have to add more liquid a lot. even when its fully blended it gets stuck and doesnt do that thing where it blends and looks so smooth. it's weird but it eventually blends so i guess it is working fine! love the color blue as well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the machine Kitchenaid Artisan 5KSB5553 and when i thought I had the rigth connection between the glass pitcher and the clutch it went wrong the taps on the connection was destroyed in few seconds and i had to buy new replacement parts = a new clutch and a new coupling for the motor. So it shouldn´t be working without the parts connected properly, but it can. So be care full out there because it dosn´t always work the way you think.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this looking to simplify the previous blender I had. The lighter plastic reservoir was a big selling feature over the glass models due to weight and ease of cleaning. The motor is quiet too. Nice product and very easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had received this blender a couple of Christmas's ago. I use it several times a month. Either making smoothies with fresh or frozen fruit and a lot of frozen coffee drinks. The only issue I have had is a little rust on the blade but I believe that is my fault from putting it away when it was not fully dry. It is easy to clean, adding soap and water after making my drink, setting on a high speed and then a simple rinse. I would recommend kitchen aid products to anyone at anytime. They have yet to disappoint me. And plus you can't go wrong with the beautiful color Selection!

I thought I'm going to buy one with more power. This one performs well. I like the bigger mouth on the top and have no problem adding an avocado or other vegetables to my morning smoothie.

Crushes Ice perfectly, but do not try to make cheesecake batter in it (my food processor wasn't big enough, it was worth a shot). It does seem to be pretty loud unfortunately, so I don't use it in the morning so as not to wake up my neighbors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife about a year and a half ago. it still is working strongly, but for the last few months has been flinging some kind of crud from the base spinner into the base of the blender container. It leaves it in a perfectly horizontal line, and after every use. I have concern that the blender is dying, and that does not make me happy with the amount of money I have spent. PLease contact me Kitchenaid...my wife loves your products, but I will not keep paying the money for it.

Love this blender functionality, speed. Will buy another one. Love that the pitcher is all one unit. However, we have owned it three years and the plastic piece under the pitcher broke. You can't buy a new piece. You have to buy a whole new pitcher. Should hold up better than that. We don't use it every day so not significant wear and tear.
