They have glucosamine hydrochloride and sodium chondroitin sulfate for healthy joints and cartilage. It also helps support bladder health. It has a natural chicken and tuna flavor. They are especially good for older cats. They are made in the U>S>A> by Nutramax Labs of Veterinary Sciences; Inc. You sprinkle it on his food . You start high and use less as he gets better. I'm hoping it will help him to be able to move better. I defiantly will get more if they work the way I hope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Nutramax Cosequin Capsules Joint Health Cat Supplement, 80 Sprinkle Capsule for my cat for several years. At first I had invested far more than I should have in trying out other Joint supplement capsules. I would do the full six week recommended treatment and see no improvement. Then after doing that for about 6 months I happened upon these little gems. I know its individual and specific to each cat but I do have to say by the second week in we were hearing less little screeches when our Cat would jump from one spot to another. Then another two or 3 weeks and my husband and I realized we hadn’t heard her jumping and making noises at all. Her sleep improved due to the fact she is more comfortable. Being that she is a cat we had to look for the subtle tell tale signs which later became obvious we had found our nirvana for Peanut. You recieve 80 capsules per bottle. What I choose to do is open the capsule and sprinkle on her morning wet food, mix around and she no trauma of having to have a pill shoved down her throat, Just her nice breakfast that this medicine allows for food consumption at the same time. The capsule will get very mushy if your fingers are wet. So make sure before touching they are very dry. Then just toss the outer capsule in the garbage. I have to say in seeing now several years later and keeping Peanut on this dose she has far exceeded what I ever thought we would see without giving her major pain medication which I refused to do. She is happy and healthy and I give the credit to these once a day Cosequin Capsules.

I’ve heard about glucosamine and chondroitin doing wonders for humans when it comes to strengthening joint and cartilage health, but my cats are almost impossible to pill, so I didn’t think I’d be able to dose them with it on a daily basis. These sprinkle capsules are a godsend! You just snap open the capsule and sprinkle a little on top of their wet food then mix it in. It’s so simple! My cats, who are notoriously picky eaters, gobble their food down without hesitation. I have a 14 year old tabby girl whose joints could use a little TLC. She’s been spending a lot of time near her water fountain and litter box lately, so I’m hoping this supplement will help with her bladder health as stated in the product details. It’s only been two weeks since I started dosing her, so it’s a little too soon to tell, but I have noticed a new pep in her furry little step when it comes to other activities. She’s been jumping up on her kitty condo to play and clean herself more often, which is something I haven’t seen her do in ages. Her younger brother, my 10 year old patchwork boy, has had an increase in energy, too. He’s gone from sleeping 16 hours a day to running around the house in the mornings, kicking his squeaky toy with his back legs. It’s so nice seeing them both happy and carefree again.

I've been trying this for my 18 year old cat who has a bit of arthritis. She seems to do well on this product and has no problem with its taste. I purchased it this time from SmartPak because I needed it and I already had an order coming. It was considerably higher in price from your company.

My 12 year old cat was getting a bit stiff in the hindquarters, and she would hiss whenever getting petted on her back half. I thought she might be sore, so I started her on Cosequin. Within a week she was spry again and ok with petting all over! I'm so glad this was available for cats. I just mix it with her wet food and she eats it right up.

I have a 1 year old cat, who has developed a rare but serious urinary tract disease. He has been on multiple prescriptions, including Feline Cosequin. For an unknown reason, the Cosequin has kept his urinary symptoms at bay foe two months now. The veterinarians don't really know WHY the Cosequin helps these cats (as it is usually used for joint issues), but it has really helped. Moreover, SmartPaks are fool-proof to use, theer is no mess, and my cat gobbles the Cosequin right up! My shipments have arrived on time- every time, and the customer service is outstanding!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 cats that are all 12-13 yrs old and though they are all still hilariously active, they're all getting a bit creaky. One of my boys recently had an x-ray that revealed arthritis around his tail and hip, so he moves a bit slower and walks a bit different on rainy days. Sadly, there have been a lot of rainy days this year and he's probably in more pain than I can imagine. I haven't tried it on the dry food he always has available because there are other cats that eat it, but I sprinkle it over his wet food with no problems. If you can 'pill' your cat, you can do it that way that as well. Over the past 2 weeks, he seems to be showing slight improvement (it's still raining). The label says the initial period of once daily dosing is 4-6 weeks, then every other day for maintenance. Of course, I'll follow up with my vet if conditions worsen or unusual side effects occur but, for now, I plan to keep him on these for pain maintenance.

I put the powder in her canned food as she does not like to take pills or have her dry food mixed with water

We have 3 kitties. Two are twelve and one is eleven, Since we have added Nutraman Cosequin Capsules to their breakfast, they are so much more active! They are more playful, running through the house and playing a lot more. Of course they always sleep and cat nap... We are so glad a friend gave us some for Pothole Kitty at Christmas 2017. We Love Happy Cats!! It is so easy to put on their food each morning. They Love the chicken flavor. I will tell everyone to try this product for their cats.

I have been giving my 17.5 year old Siamese cat Cosequin for about 2 weeks. Wow! What a difference! She actually scoots up and down the stairs pretty quickly. She just seems to feel better and jumps up on the the bed or couch with ease. No more stiff legs. I love this product and it's so easy to mix in her food each day. I would recommend this to anyone with an older kitty.
