My veterinarian recommended I put my 1 year-old cat on this product beacause of idiopathic urinary tract disease, since it has been shown to relax the muscles in the urinary tract. I just open the capsule and top dress his food with it. He eats it right up! Plus, by using cosequin, I have the added benefit of my cat having healthy joints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the bottle of 80 count maximum Strength Sprinkle Capsules of Nutramax Cosequin Capsules for Joint Health of Cat Supplement. 80 Sprinkle Maximum Strength Joint Health Supplement. I have three cats and one of them limps every now and then. I started sprinkling this on his food and stirring it in. He eats the food with it mixed in just fine. After only a few days of using this, I see a big difference, he's NOT limping anymore. This stuff is easy to pop open and sprinkle on the food. I asked my vet about using Nutramax Cosequin nutritional joint health supplements for my cat and he said he thought it would be fine to try and see how it works. So far I think it works well and am happy to see my cat walking, running, playing normally now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I cannot report any long term results I can report that my cat didn't mind my sprinkling this on his food. However I did use wet food as I felt this would not work well with dry food. As to the long range results I am hoping this will prevent most, if not all, joint problems as my kitty ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These vitamins worked extremely well! I used them for a week as directed on my two cats dry food. One of my cats is older and has been mostly a sleepy cat. She doesn't like to get up and move around a lot. My other cat moved around but they are both indoor cats and do not get a chance to run and play. Once they started the vitamins my older cat actually had a bit more energy and moved easier. My other cat has been extremely active and has even taken to climbing to higher heights than ever! I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family!

Originally started using Cosequin when it was suggested to help with my adopted cat's recurring cystitis. I had noticed that he didn't seem to move as freely as a 2 year old cat should but that greatly improved after starting the Cosequin. His cystitis needs more than just Cosequin for optimal management but I do believe it has helped. And it's nice that he doesn't sound as much like a heard of elephants when he comes bounding down the stairs!

My veterinarian recommended Cosequin for cats when my new senior shelter cat displayed symptoms of a sore back. I honestly thought...yeah right, my cat is going to really eat this. My cat actually did eat it...happily. I have also seen improvements in her sensitivity to her back.

I always use cosequin maximum for my cats and I was so pleased to find that I could get it at a much less expensive price than I can anywhere else. Same strength same amount of capsules same product I do believe it's the same brand name. And I didn't have to go anywhere to get it it was brought right to my front door free . How awesome is that???

My 14 year old cat was playing yesterday morning after taking the cosequin for about a week and a half. Her bones make a little pop from time to time. It was recommended to me by my vet and I found it here for a good price. I hope it continues to improve her quality of life.

I put the powder in her canned food as she does not like to take pills or have her dry food mixed with water
