Nutramax Cosequin Supplement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hear all good results from Nutramax Cosequin Capsules Joint Health Cat Supplement. This supplement is perfect for me I have two male cats that are ten years old. They are showing some signs of joint discomfort . The supplement is made in the USA I am happy about that. The capsules are easy to open and just sprinkle over the wet cat food. If your cat eats dry then you spray the dry food with water and then sprinkle Nutramax Cosequin and it will stick to it. The supplement is odorless . Looking forward to improving my cats quality of life.
Excellent for my cats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These vitamins worked extremely well! I used them for a week as directed on my two cats dry food. One of my cats is older and has been mostly a sleepy cat. She doesn't like to get up and move around a lot. My other cat moved around but they are both indoor cats and do not get a chance to run and play. Once they started the vitamins my older cat actually had a bit more energy and moved easier. My other cat has been extremely active and has even taken to climbing to higher heights than ever! I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family!
Hates Medicines, Loves Cousequin for Cats
Our barn cat is 15 years old. This past winter, we noticed a definite decrease in his activity level and he no longer wanted to be picked up. I tried Cosequin for Cats in capsule form just to see if it would make him more comfortable. I was not looking forward to giving him pills due to our previous experiences with that task. I was pleased to learn that the capsules could be taken apart and the medicine sprinkled on food. We use a separate small bowl containing dry food, sprinkle on the medicine and add a little bit of water just to make it stick to the food and stir. The whole time the prep is happening, Blackie is right there under my feet telling me to hurry up. The other cats wish he would share. After a couple of weeks, we noticed improvement and now it's not uncommon to see him outside during the day again.
Good stuff!
My 12 year old cat was getting a bit stiff in the hindquarters, and she would hiss whenever getting petted on her back half. I thought she might be sore, so I started her on Cosequin. Within a week she was spry again and ok with petting all over! I'm so glad this was available for cats. I just mix it with her wet food and she eats it right up.
Good for your kitty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nutramax Cosequin seems like it is some good stuff. In the short time I have had this bottle, my almost 17 year old cat is getting around better. Not only does it help joint health, it also helps the cat's bladder. The inner lining of the bladder wall is protected by a layer, which contains some of the same compounds found in cartilage. Our veterinarian also recommend Nutramax Cosequin to help support urinary bladder health. She says this layer prevents urine and the waste products contained within it from seeping into and damaging the lining. Since the low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate found in Cosequin is available to more than just cartilage cells, the bladder may use it to help support this protective layer.professional line of Nutramax Cosequin Contains 125 milligrams FCHG49 glucosamine and 100 milligrams TRH122 chondroitin sulfate per capsule. With those ingredients this product will made your cat a much happier feline because of the way it makes them feel. Cosequin plays an important role in maintaining optimal joint function. Healthy joint cartilage is crucial to joint mobility. Cosequin helps support cartilage production and protect existing cartilage from breakdown. There are not many joint support options available specifically for cats. There are some products used in dogs that are not as safe in cats. Cosequin has been shown to be safe in cats. Cosequin, a nutritional supplement, safely and effectively provides joint cartilage support while maintaining your cat's comfort level. After using Nutramax Cosequin my kitty doesn't limp anymore. If you have a cat that appears to have joint problems get some Nutramax Cosequin and give it a try. I think your Kitty will love you even more than it does now.
Works great.
My 11 year old cat only drinks water from the bathroom faucet. A few months ago she started having problems jumping on the counter. She’d often fall. My vet told me to try giving her cosequin. She is doing much better. She is falling much less often.
Gave my cat her life back!
I have a 4 year old cat that started severely limping one day. It got worse and worse and for 3 months the vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. X-rays showed a bit of arthritis, but the vet didn't think it was nearly enough to put her on 3 legs. I keep my show horses on joint supplements and just decided to try giving this to my cat. Three weeks later she was almost perfect! For the last 2 days she hasn't limped at all. This supplement is great!
My Cats Won't Eat It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review may not be fair but I am at a loss as to what to do. I have four senior cats, one of whom is overweight. She has shown signs of difficulty engaging in activities that she used to do with ease. Maybe it's the diet she's fed, preferring kibble to the moist food she gets every day, but I cannot seem to get any of my cats to consume the tablet. I've sprinkled it on wet and she, along with the others, refuse it. So, I tried putting it in a pill pocket for the heavier cat but she won't eat that either. I don't know if this is fair, but I am unable to give a positive review after my inability to deliver the product to my pet(s).
Cat seems so much better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing Nutramax Cosequin Capsules Joint Health Cat Supplement, 80 Sprinkle Capsules. I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion of it. I selected this product because my daughter's cat is getting up in years, and we had been concerned with her moving slower, and looking like she was not as agile as she has always been, as if her joints ached. She was also having some occassional urinary problems. The bottle contains 80 sprinkle containing capsules. We buy the cat canned food as a treat, but her basic diet is dry food. My daughter opens the capsules and sprinkles on the cat's food when given canned, and the cat does not turn her nose up to it. When feeding dry food, she gives it a capsule like any other pill. The capsule is small enough that the cat does not mind swallowing it. So far, I have not seen the cat acting like she is stiff, and is her old loving self. I have also not seen her having litter box problems with her bladder. So far, like this product, and wish we had tried it sooner.
