My girl is 13 and started having issues with her front leg about a year ago. Just a slight limp but enough to freak me out. Our vet took an xray and said it was arthritis. I had already started her on the Cosequin before her appointment and the vet agreed it was a good idea. Took about 2 weeks to kick in but it's helped a lot. She runs and plays like normal. I would definitely recommend trying it if your senior kitty has minor arthritis like mine does.

This is the easiest way to give my older cat a little more mobility. The capsules come apart and the powder goes in his food. He has never turned his food away because of this. For not being a prescription for my kittie's limping, I believe it does as well as can be expected. I am using 2 of these at a time, once a day. Without that she does limp more. The prescription she had gave better results though.

When ordering these, I believed I was getting the maximum strength Cosequin and somehow this is what showed up. Because my cat was already used to the maximum strength, I have to use 2 capsules daily instead of one. I must say that these sprinkle capsules, regardless of dosage strength, are the best thing for a picky kitty... she can't taste them at all, and now that I've adjusted her dose, she is doing better.
