I have been giving my 17.5 year old Siamese cat Cosequin for about 2 weeks. Wow! What a difference! She actually scoots up and down the stairs pretty quickly. She just seems to feel better and jumps up on the the bed or couch with ease. No more stiff legs. I love this product and it's so easy to mix in her food each day. At first I had invested far more than I should have in trying out other Joint supplement capsules. I would do the full six week recommended treatment and see no improvement. Then after doing that for about 6 months I happened upon these little gems. I know its individual and specific to each cat but I do have to say by the second week in we were hearing less little screeches when our Cat would jump from one spot to another. Then another two or 3 weeks and my husband and I realized we hadn’t heard her jumping and making noises at all. Her sleep improved due to the fact she is more comfortable. Being that she is a cat we had to look for the subtle tell tale signs which later became obvious we had found our nirvana for Peanut. You recieve 80 capsules per bottle. What I choose to do is open the capsule and sprinkle on her morning wet food, mix around and she no trauma of having to have a pill shoved down her throat, Just her nice breakfast that this medicine allows for food consumption at the same time. The capsule will get very mushy if your fingers are wet. So make sure before touching they are very dry. Then just toss the outer capsule in the garbage. I always use cosequin maximum for my cats and I was so pleased to find that I could get it at a much less expensive price than I can anywhere else. Same strength same amount of capsules same product I do believe it's the same brand name. And I didn't have to go anywhere to get it it was brought right to my front door free . How awesome is that???
