My male cat, Oliver, has had problems with urinary tract inflammation for years. A strict diet usually helps keep it under control, but lately he has been having flare-ups. My vet recommended trying Cosequin to help reduce the inflammation. I was skeptical but decided it couldn't hurt so I gave it a try. Oliver seems much happier and the vet was very pleased with the results of his last check-up. The Cosequin has also helped 7 year old Oliver move like a kitten! Although I don't love that he's jumping on the kitchen counter again, I am glad to know he's feeling good.

My 14 year old cat was playing yesterday morning after taking the cosequin for about a week and a half. Her bones make a little pop from time to time. It was recommended to me by my vet and I found it here for a good price. I hope it continues to improve her quality of life.

My cat is older and was having trouble going down stairs and jumping down from things. Sometimes he would limp as well. After being on the Cosequin for about 6 weeks, he stopped limping and could get down from counters much easier. I mix it in with his food and he always eats it. I plan to keep him on this product because it works so well. Cosequin has made a huge difference in the quality of life of my senior cat.

We have a 16 year old female cat. She's been a outdoor cat most of her life. She recently started walking on 3 legs. We took her to the vet and they said she has artheritce. They gave us staroids and said that if her quility of life does not inprove we should put her down. Well the staroids did NOTHING!! Then we found the Cosequin!!! SHE NOW WALKS ON ALL 4 LEGS AND EVEN RUNS UP AND DOWN THE CELLAR STEPS. We saw inprovement after only 3 days!! We only give 1 Cosequin a day. We mix the powder (only) from the capsule in a teaspoon of can food and she really loves it. Then we give her the rest of the can. No trouble with her eating it at all, and I really don't like having to use a pill shooter on animals, so this is ideal!!! This is a life saving product for us!! We have a 12 year old beagle mix that has been having leg problems for the same reason. We will be starting him on Cosequin as soon as it arives!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review may not be fair but I am at a loss as to what to do. I have four senior cats, one of whom is overweight. She has shown signs of difficulty engaging in activities that she used to do with ease. Maybe it's the diet she's fed, preferring kibble to the moist food she gets every day, but I cannot seem to get any of my cats to consume the tablet. I've sprinkled it on wet and she, along with the others, refuse it. So, I tried putting it in a pill pocket for the heavier cat but she won't eat that either. I don't know if this is fair, but I am unable to give a positive review after my inability to deliver the product to my pet(s).

I have a 4 year old cat that started severely limping one day. It got worse and worse and for 3 months the vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. X-rays showed a bit of arthritis, but the vet didn't think it was nearly enough to put her on 3 legs. I keep my show horses on joint supplements and just decided to try giving this to my cat. Three weeks later she was almost perfect! For the last 2 days she hasn't limped at all. This supplement is great!

My veterinarian recommended I put my 1 year-old cat on this product beacause of idiopathic urinary tract disease, since it has been shown to relax the muscles in the urinary tract. I just open the capsule and top dress his food with it. He eats it right up! Plus, by using cosequin, I have the added benefit of my cat having healthy joints!

I put the powder in her canned food as she does not like to take pills or have her dry food mixed with water

My cat, now 15, had been having problems jumping on to and off off things and even going up and down the stairs. He had a gimp in his walk; in his hind end (hips) and I could tell he was in discomfort. After starting him on his cosequin, he has been walking so much better and can jump on and off things with much less difficulty. Plus, he even will eat it with his wet food!!!! thanks cosequin...I am so much happier for my kitty. I think he feels much better too :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't speak to the results of this product with my cat yet because I've only been using this product for a couple of days but it's a very easy supplement to add to my cats wet food and she doesn't seem to notice that it's mixed into her food. I read several cat site online reviews of Cosequin as a joint health supplement and feel confident that this is a safe and effective product. The online description of this product indicates that there's an added benefit of helping to support bladder health, too, and the online reviews seem to be all positive for the added bladder health benefit. My Calico cat has had bladder issues in the past so I'm happy to have a supplement that benefits both bladder and joint health! These capsules are "premeasured" so that you can break them open and sprinkle on food (wet food or moistened dry food). Obviously, you throw the capsule itself away after you empty it out. It's a white powder-like substance that easily mixes into food and my cat ate it all right up. (see pictures I've added). One capsule everyday for 10 lbs and under, Two capsules for cats over 10 lbs. The initial period of adding this supplement to your cats food every day is 4-6 weeks. After that, you can add it every other day for maintenance. It also indicates that you can add more capsule contents if needed depending upon your cat's needs. My cat is almost 9 and she's very active but I'm noticing that she has a little more difficulty jumping on her window perch now so I'm looking forward to the final results of this product!
