[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing Nutramax Cosequin Capsules Joint Health Cat Supplement, 80 Sprinkle Capsules. I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion of it. I selected this product because my daughter's cat is getting up in years, and we had been concerned with her moving slower, and looking like she was not as agile as she has always been, as if her joints ached. She was also having some occassional urinary problems. The bottle contains 80 sprinkle containing capsules. We buy the cat canned food as a treat, but her basic diet is dry food. My daughter opens the capsules and sprinkles on the cat's food when given canned, and the cat does not turn her nose up to it. When feeding dry food, she gives it a capsule like any other pill. The capsule is small enough that the cat does not mind swallowing it. So far, I have not seen the cat acting like she is stiff, and is her old loving self. I have also not seen her having litter box problems with her bladder. So far, like this product, and wish we had tried it sooner.

I bought this supplement for my aging feline, who was limping on her left front (probably shoulder arthritis). After a few weeks of Cosequin, she's just like new! I am very impressed with the results! My neighbor tried it on her cat, and he is feeling better, too! The powder is flavored for the pickiest eater, and my cat gobbles it down with her wet food. So glad I tried this product!

For some reason...(second time this year) I got all these pills packed in SmartPak envelopes even though I ordered a bottle....what a waste of paper. Same thing happened when I ordered a bucket of BLPellets for my horse. Checked the orders both times and yes....I had NOT ordered any of it packaged. I called both times and service rep. agreed that it was a mistake. You use to be so very good, have made many purchases from you. Know I wonder....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time I've tried this Cosequin for my cat. She appears to be movin more easily. She's also in a better mood. Her appetite has improved. I'm very happy with this product. I recommend it to anyone who has a cat.

My young cat was recently diagnosed with bladder stones and had surgery to remove them. My veterinarian recommended feeding her Cosequin for Cats, as there is solid scientific evidence that Cosequin alleviates irritation in the bladder and urinary tissues. It won't dissolve bladder stones, of course, but it offers support and helps the body heal - so why not try it!

However I did use wet food as I felt this would not work well with dry food. As to the long range results I am hoping this will prevent most, if not all, joint problems as my kitty ages.

I've had my large male cat on this supplement for about a year now. He has a "hitchy" hip from some injury prior to him adopting me and as he got older it was becoming more prominent. I give him one tablet at dinner time, sprinkled on his food. He eats it up before digging into the next layer and has been running up the stairs like I haven't seen in years. Been using the Cosequin Capsules for a couple weeks now and the Cats are getting around better. Very easy to use just sprinkle on can food and they don't mind it at all. Cats seem to know when you but any kind of meds on their food but not bothered at all with this. Hoping with more use that they will get around better and start loosing some weight. If your Cats are starting to get stiff in their joints give it a try, you won't be sorry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Nutramax Cosequin Capsules Joint Health Cat Supplement, 80 Sprinkle Capsule for my cat for several years. At first I had invested far more than I should have in trying out other Joint supplement capsules. I would do the full six week recommended treatment and see no improvement. Then after doing that for about 6 months I happened upon these little gems. I know its individual and specific to each cat but I do have to say by the second week in we were hearing less little screeches when our Cat would jump from one spot to another. Then another two or 3 weeks and my husband and I realized we hadn’t heard her jumping and making noises at all. Her sleep improved due to the fact she is more comfortable. Being that she is a cat we had to look for the subtle tell tale signs which later became obvious we had found our nirvana for Peanut. You recieve 80 capsules per bottle. What I choose to do is open the capsule and sprinkle on her morning wet food, mix around and she no trauma of having to have a pill shoved down her throat, Just her nice breakfast that this medicine allows for food consumption at the same time. The capsule will get very mushy if your fingers are wet. So make sure before touching they are very dry. Then just toss the outer capsule in the garbage. I have to say in seeing now several years later and keeping Peanut on this dose she has far exceeded what I ever thought we would see without giving her major pain medication which I refused to do. She is happy and healthy and I give the credit to these once a day Cosequin Capsules.
