[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I requested the Nutramax Cosequin Capsules Joint Health Cat Supplement ( 80 Sprinkle Capsules) for my sweet 17 year old cat, Max. He is in surprisingly good health for a cat that age, and I want to keep him that way for as long as possible, which is one of the reasons I wanted to try this supplement. He spends a lot of time sleeping now, but he still likes to play and cuddle. I love seeing him rolling around “trying” to look cute. (He does!) He doesn’t like to take medicine, but he still loves to eat. He eats both wet and dry food and these Nutramax Cosequin capsules are no problem to administer to him. I just open a capsule and sprinkle it over his wet food. It doesn’t slow him down in eating at all! I mix it in and apparently he can’t taste or see a thing. When he first gets up from one of his naps he seems a little stiff and sometimes has a slight limp. I’m hoping this will make his transition from sleeping to playing a little easier. He’s definitely worth it!

I have been giving my 17.5 year old Siamese cat Cosequin for about 2 weeks. Wow! What a difference! She actually scoots up and down the stairs pretty quickly. She just seems to feel better and jumps up on the the bed or couch with ease. No more stiff legs. I love this product and it's so easy to mix in her food each day. I would recommend this to anyone with an older kitty.

I've noticed comments about difficulty getting your cat to take this. What I do is open a bunch of the capsules and mix/stir it in to a full can of wet food. Then replace the food into the can. Each night I give my old girl a teaspoon or so. She gobbles it right up. That works for us, anyway.

My 11 year old cat only drinks water from the bathroom faucet. A few months ago she started having problems jumping on the counter. She’d often fall. My vet told me to try giving her cosequin. She is doing much better. She is falling much less often.

They have glucosamine hydrochloride and sodium chondroitin sulfate for healthy joints and cartilage. It also helps support bladder health. It has a natural chicken and tuna flavor. They are especially good for older cats. They are made in the U>S>A> by Nutramax Labs of Veterinary Sciences; Inc. You sprinkle it on his food . You start high and use less as he gets better. I'm hoping it will help him to be able to move better. I defiantly will get more if they work the way I hope

The price was better at Walmart compared to the vet. Speedy has been on this for almost two weeks and I believe that it's helping to improve her mobility. I will continue to use this medication until a full bottle has been consumed. At that point, I'll determine if I will continue w/ the med. At this point, I think it's a plus!

My cat, now 15, had been having problems jumping on to and off off things and even going up and down the stairs. He had a gimp in his walk; in his hind end (hips) and I could tell he was in discomfort. After starting him on his cosequin, he has been walking so much better and can jump on and off things with much less difficulty. Plus, he even will eat it with his wet food!!!! thanks cosequin...I am so much happier for my kitty. I think he feels much better too :)

The clear white side holds the product while the pink side is the closer side. The product is in a powdery form. There are 80 capsules in this container. When I first opened the bottle, I immediately thought, "These look like Equate Allergy relief capsules that I buy instead of Benadryl." Even though I keep our pets' items in a separate area, I wrote on the bottle "for Kitty" so my family won't get confused in a hurry moment. The bottle instructions say, "Under 10 lbs - 1 capsule sprinkled on food daily. Over 10 lbs - 2 capsules sprinkled on food daily." I break open a capsule and mix it with a little bit of water and then place it on her dry food. I start with one tablet and progress to two so she adjusts to the new taste of her food. Kitty is a 17 year old calico who is a picky eater (prefers dry food) with a sensitive nose. I thought for sure she would avoid the areas with the sprinkles. To my surprise, she ate the sprinkled areas without hesitation.
