In the morning I use 1/2 of a bottle on my cereal and drink the other 1/2 as a morning snack. Mid Afternoon I have another as a snack. I fully believe this is how I regained my strength and stamina after my stroke 4 years ago.

Ensure taste good and kept me nourished. In 2014 my 90 year old Aunt was diagnosed with failure to thrive. She was under 100 pounds and ate like a bird. I asked her Dr. about giving her Ensure and he wrote a prescription for it so that I could get it at low cost to no cost. She began drinking it and liked it. she is now doing well and still drinking it. she enjoys the Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate. Her weight has increased to 107 pounds. The Dr. is pleased. I drank Ensure dark chocolate protein shake a few days ago and became immediately sick. I had drank it before with some effect but this took the cake. I was at work and after drinking this ensure product, my face/chest became red, my abdomen growled loudly, then terrible gassy diarrhea and nausea. I thought I'd have to call 911. I felt like I was going to throw up all over my car, but thankfully didn't. I left work and sat on my porch for awhile. I felt better with each passing hour. I believe I had expelled the product immediately after drinking it - due to the extreme diarrhea. I am very traumatized by this and will never drink it again!

I'm overseas working in a place where food is hard to come by and this ensure is helping me maintain my body weight, its not a substitute for food, but more like another means of nutrition! Plus the shipping by Walmart was fantastic, it arrived at my location in less than 8 days, and shipping charge was really minimal! Great product (Abott) and great store (Walmart)! Love that Walmart supports are troops by sending to APO's and FPO's!

I'm also aware that my Vitamin intake is being supplemented..especially on days that I forget to take my Vitamins. I also like the Ensure Original nutrition powder as it is not sweet or you can sweeten it with syrups.

She now is encouraged to drink 3-4 a day and it is helping. She has more energy, is more alert and loves the flavor. It is very convenient to provide for her, in single serving bottles. I just bought the banana nut flavor and the new Max brand for him. It gives me peace of mind that it keeps him full when he doesn't have time for a meal right away. I myself like the vanilla flavor too and I like it cold.
