My mother passed away ten years ago. I only wish the butter pecan flavor had been available when she was still with us, because butter pecan was her favorite flavor ice cream, and mine too!

I like it because it packs well in lunchs, it freezes so well and will defrost in its bottle and you just have toshake it well and it is a delicious tasting treat for me when I'm craving chocolate and I'm on a restricted diet and fluid intake so it covers all the protein low in sugar and salt. Several of my folks have Ensure, but I never thought of it for myself. One person raved about the butter pecan, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's good, but I really love the strawberry! Now, I can grab a bottle of Ensure on my way out the door, and no more skipped breakfasts!

He often forgets to eat or doesn't want to eat and mealtimes had become a constant struggle that frustrated both him and me. However, he is always willing to drink an Ensure. I have also warmed it slightly and told him that it was "coffee" and he takes it with a smile. Lately he has had difficulty swallowing and aspirates when he does. The physician instructed us to thicken his drinks but he does not like the texture or taste of the thickener. Fortunately Ensure is that perfect thickness (just a bit more than water) that allows him to swallow safely. Ensure provides the nutrients and vitamins that he needs to keep his body healthy and as active as possible. Truly, Ensure is a lifesaver!

If I drink it at lunch with a Belvita cracker it will fill me up until I have a very light dinner of cereal I like the butter pecan flavor also and I always have one or the other in my fridge !

I drink it as is or I add vanilla ice cream and make a shake. I've even added to coffee as a creamer and added as to frosting or cake mix! I love to cook and I'm always experimenting..... So with that being said the ideas of things to make are endless with any of your flavor. So go out and enjoy Ensure!

The chocolate flavor is really rich and smooth and helps to satiate my cravings for sweets. Plus it has protein and lots of vitamins. I like to have them available for my mom so she can have something that's quick and super tasty.
