Bought on of these things as a requested birthday gift. My mom saw them being hawked on the TV and just had to have one. Thankfully they were available at Sam's instead. Bought one and was immediately concerned when I saw how the heating element attached to the grill surface. Not good. Tried cooking a few burgers to test out the device and was sorely disappointed by the amount of heat produced. I honestly would have done better dropping the burgers on a fry pan and cooking them on the hob. Cooking time was long and heat up time long too. To get any real heat from this unit would require running the temp way up on the settings and that wasn't going to happen. Cleanup was a nightmare as well. That required: removing the ungainly sized grill, the heat element, an aluminum drip pan and the grease catch cup which is supposed to be filled by two cups of water. This meant that you had a full counter of junk to move about when you washed it. I was suspicious of this thing when I saw it on the TV. These sort of thing always are more hype than return, but it was a requested gift. It would have been returned if it was up to me. Rubbish!

I have had mine since Dec 2018 I love it. cook all the time on it. from steak to burgers to pancakes. then not paying attention and left it sitting on top of range and yes someone turned on the range just broke my heart and melted the base. I love it so much have already ordered new one and will be more careful.

I've had this for about a month and have used it mostly for grilled chicken. It is easy in that it grills evenly and the actual cooking process is simple. The only downfall is the cleaning of it isn't as easy as portrayed on the commercial if you are using a sauce on the item you are grilling. Having said that, I still love the grill.

The food from this grill is amazing. I made the best hamburgers I have ever eaten! I loved it. But once I went to clean it all the captured smoke escaped and stunk up my house for days afterward. However now that I know that I take it outside on the porch before I take it apart and the captured smoke escapes. Still, I wouldn't trade this grill for anything! Those were the best burgers I ever ate. I also wish Walmart sold the griddle and cookbooks too, I'd love to have the option of having them. The reason I bought it from Walmart was being able to take it home without having to wait weeks to get it from the TV offer. I love this grill!

I wanted to consolidate my kitchen toys, and bought this to replace my griddle and indoor grill. I am so glad I did! The grill is amazing, the ability to add flavoring or spices to the water is a great feature, and it is so much easier to clean the whole apparatus than either my old griddle or grill was! So glad I bought it.

This power grill is large enough, and is highly recommended for camping, parties, and larger parties. It really works well and can cook anything from meat, vegetables, and etc. It is also easy to clean after using it once, and it doesn't make a lot of mess because there is a lid that comes with it. You can put the lid on top and it will prevent oil from popping out of the pan. I really loved it and would highly recommend it! I am writing this review as part of a contest.

Bought this grill and returned it the next day. After preheating I put chicken breasts that were pounded to approximately 1/2" thick on it, set a time for 8 min and when I came back to flip them not only were there no grill marks it had barely begun to cook it was still mostly pink and raw. That was at 350 so I flipped them and bumped temp up to the highest setting of 450 and still no grill marks and barely cooking. After 30 min and still not reaching temp I removed them and finished cooking them in a frying pan. When I was standing in line to return it I couldn't help but notice that someone had also returned the same grill.

We are very pleased with the grill. We make almost anything on it. Love grilled veggies on it. Haven't tried the griddle yet. Only thing I'm not crazy about is having to take it all apart to add water before I use it, but I'm getting used to it. We are older and don't have an outside grill any more so it is great for us.

I've used my Power Smokeless Grill on four occasions, chicken and shrimp. The food taste so delicious, crispy on outside and tender on the inside. Love the fact you don't have to watch it while it's cooking. Wish it was larger in order to cook meat and veggies together. Have to cook veggies first then meat. Have not used griddle yet. Looking forward to it. i really love my grill and I know it's ease of using it will allow me many years of enjoyment of great tasting food..

Worked great so far, wasn't any smoke in kitchen and grilled the steaks to perfection. Granted wasn't the same as a charcoal grilled taste, but was as good as a outdoor gas grill taste. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn't come with the griddle, QVC sells it for $10 more and it comes with griddle. Also the web site to get cookbooks jumps to Canadian site that doesn't have the books.
