I've been using this often since I got it. It is very convenient, sometimes it is just too hot to grill outside or it's raining. I've cooked lots of chicken, burgers and a few steaks. It was easy to set up right out of the box and it is easy to clean. There is no smoke and I can cook this right on my counter with no hassle. It heats up quickly so the food is ready in no time.

Bought on of these things as a requested birthday gift. My mom saw them being hawked on the TV and just had to have one. Thankfully they were available at Sam's instead. Bought one and was immediately concerned when I saw how the heating element attached to the grill surface. Not good. Tried cooking a few burgers to test out the device and was sorely disappointed by the amount of heat produced. I honestly would have done better dropping the burgers on a fry pan and cooking them on the hob. Cooking time was long and heat up time long too. To get any real heat from this unit would require running the temp way up on the settings and that wasn't going to happen. Cleanup was a nightmare as well. That required: removing the ungainly sized grill, the heat element, an aluminum drip pan and the grease catch cup which is supposed to be filled by two cups of water. This meant that you had a full counter of junk to move about when you washed it. I was suspicious of this thing when I saw it on the TV. These sort of thing always are more hype than return, but it was a requested gift. It would have been returned if it was up to me. Rubbish!

Moving to a big city, one of the things I missed the most was the ability to easily grill. However, this product makes grilling in an apartment easy and is not time consuming. I can quickly grill burgers, chicken, and veggies in no time! The built in fan works perfectly in preventing smoke and smells from permeating the entire apartment. And it's super easy to clean! The oil put on the grill goes into an internal tray, so as soon as your done cooking all you need to do is wipe it down! I would highly recommend to someone else - really great for apartment living! I am writing this review as a part of a contest.

This is our 2nd grill in the last 2 weeks. We returned the first one because the heat distribution was horrible and cooking was very uneven. We couldn't be happier with this grill. So far we've grilled steak, lamb chops, hamburgers, turkeyburgers and salmon. Everything cooked quickly and perfectly. We rarely use the highest setting because it's unnecessary. The built in fan does a good job of eliminating most if not all of the smoke. Cleaning is not the most convenient and not like an outdoor grill but considering how well it grills I still gave it 5 stars.

The first time I used the grill it was great. I cooked steaks with no smoke. But I cooked steaks again the next day and it my whole house was consumed with smoke. I gave it a third try and made burgers and the smoke was even worse this time. It just circulated the smoke around inside of the lid and did suction it at all. It makes really great grill marks and steaks taste amazing with a little liquid smoke. But I'm hesitant to try it again. Maybe it will do better with less food on it... But that's not what I brought it for!

This grill is amazing. The grill is structured so that there is no smoke that comes off of it and instead, gets filtered inside the grill. The material is top quality and it's pretty large, so you can grill a lot of food at the same time. The grilling is also very quiet and the grill is very easy to clean. All you need to do is stick it into the dishwasher. Absolutely great quality product for its relatively alright price. I wrote this review as part of a contest!

The smokeless part is the best feature. While not 100% smoke-free it does eliminate I'd guess around 95% of the smoke. The 99 dollar price is good but does not come with any extra items the as seen on tv version does. All in all I would buy again. Also I bought the 2 year warranty, just in case.

I heard this was supposed to be good. The fan was faulty making a very loud high pitch noise. My husband said it sounded like it was probably hitting on something. Also a faulty on off switch would not shut off. The moment it was plugged in it got hot. The unit continued to stay hot even after pushing the power off. The only way to stop it from heating was to unplug it. I took it back trying the online return process but It was not easy or clear as I was not able to print the return bar code from my iPhone. (The store does not have a return scanner. And that process is also unclear.) The return bar code disappeared from my iPhone screen after several minutes though I wanted to keep it to take it to the store for the return. I lucked out by finding a another purchase bar code in another area and I guessed that it could be used at the local Walmart store return department. They scanned the purchase confirmation bar code and they accepted the return. The employee looked surprised. The Walmart on line return process, if you want to take it back for a refund, is not clear or easy. I am still waiting a week later for a promised “in 72 hours” return label from an online Walmart supervisor for another item being returned that was botched by a misinformed Walmart online employee.

Great product for what it does. Good size for family of two. Temps are achieved quickly and maintained accurately. The smokeless fan turns on by it's self when needed. Still learning to use the machine but thus far the dishes we've made have been very good.

This is the best little grill! I also ordered the griddle option, both the perfect size for just the two of us. The variable temperature control gets hot enough for steak, hamburgers, chicken & lamb chops. The lower temps grill salmon & other fish gently without burning. I've had this grill for about two months & have used it weekly. Simple to clean & easily fits in the cabinet. The lid is also a nice feature. Definitely recommend this grill.
