Purchased this grill first part of may this year... so it's not that old, but i noticed 2 different places the coating is starting to come off. Cannot say that i scrubbed it off, and made it wear off. It's in the corner of the grill, probably not even a place that food would be cooked at. So i am wondering if there are any other people that have the same problem. I would hate to see what happens if i keep using it, Iam almost afraid the whole coating will start peeling and then i would be up a creek, and not be able to use it anymore. That's why i am only giving a ONE star... i love the grill, but hate to see what happens when i keep using it.

Ive had this a few weeks now and I was not a believer of Grilling inside BUT this Grill does everything it claims and the food looks and taste great.. The Only Con I have with Mine is I am certain its a returned product from a previous buyer as the lid was already assembled and the black plastic handle was busted. In spite of this it still operates as its supposed to.

I saw this in the store and I thought it would be a great way to do some of the smellier cooking outside - for example bacon. So I bought it. I cooked three things: 1) bacon - while not large enough for a whole pack of the extra thick bacon it did come close. Took about 40 min on 350* which I thought was pretty long compared to how long it takes in my oven. In the end I was disappointed because the middle of the griddle cooked wayyy faster than the outside. 2) shrimp - once again the shrimp in the middle cooked way faster than the shrimp on the outside. 3) steak - one ribeye, smack in the middle cooked pretty well and it had those nice grill marks. I think for those who want the grease and fat to drip off this would be a good option, but again keep in mind the outsides don't cook as fast as the middle. So in the end I returned it. I'll try something else.

Could not turn my unit off after the very first use! Could not contact anyone from the manufacturer! $100 Piece of garbage! The NJ Better Business Bureau has hundreds of complaints regarding this unit. The company actually gets "inventions" manufactured and if you pay them enough they will market it... SAVE YOUR $$!!

I've had this grill for eight months, and use it several times a week. I would rather cook on the outdoor grill for the char-grilled taste, but living in Florida I am not standing outside during the summer to cook. It does seem to cook hotter on the right side than on the left side, but now that I'm aware of that, I can adjust my cooking. I clean the three main parts every time I grill and every few weeks, I take it completely apart to clean the plastic bottom. It can be taken apart by the screws underneath to get around the fan. I love grilled food over fried or baked, and this is the best grill I've ever owned. I have had zero problems with smoke. Just make sure you follow the directions and put water in the bottom pan.

Another basic Chinese offering made with below average materials. The inner “pan” is rusting after a few months. The temperature control is a pretty vague + or - affair offering about 5 different settings? with a blinking led ring that looks pretty. It does what it is supposed to do.

Grilled (2) 2 inch thick Ribeye, very JUICY, could not believe how good it taste and no smoke. When cooking bone in chicken, turn heat down 275* cook till done then turn up to 450* to sear it. I did not do this on the Ribeyes as I like medium rare. Did a pack of weiners and so good and juicy. Will be doing burgers tonight, can't wait. Tired of firing up the grill,decided I would give it a try, very glad I did. I may take it back only because if you order on TV for 20 dollars more you get the griddle,2 copper frying pans and 2 cook books.

I have used the power grill for a few weeks now and I see the following issues with this product: 1. The Grill cannot maintain level temperature 2. Cannot cook thick meat like chicken leg or chicken breast. The meat would get burn on the outside before it cooked through 3. The cooking plate under side is hard to clean once grease gets on it, even hand scrub is hard to get all the sticky grease out. The uneven surface makes it harder to clean If you like rare or medium cook steak it would be fine.

I was given one of these as a gift. When we first set it up, it worked beautifully. I heated up nicely. It cooked evenly. And it didn't smoke. We primarily used it to cook hamburgers. As the months progressed, the more we cooked on it, the worse it performed. Anything with a lot of grease, like hamburger, started smoking. I would completely dismantle this to clean it. Didn't help. Then it would stop working on in the middle of cooking. We haven't had it a year and it is not reliable. I would look elsewhere if you want a smokeless grill.

Very messy to cook with . The drip pan make a huge mess . And as far as smokeless that's not accurate as i had to open doors and windows to get rid of the smoke smell. Please don't buy this item. I'm surprised by all the 4 and 5 star reviews, maybe I'm an idiot. Well i am . I bought this thing.
